 Excellent product December 3, 2008
My family loves this ottoman. We had searched many stores, including buy out stores. This storage ottoman is an excellent price and great quality. The two little ottomans are a cute bonus. We are very happy with our purchace. The ottoman with the 2 bonus ottomans and next day shipping were still much cheaper than the buy out stores.

i saw this product on ebay and many other online stores, but this was definitely the best price. i like the product a lot and it is good quality. just be careful to read the size (cause I didn't!) because it is smaller than it looks. the blocks inside are very small, but still useful for seating guests in a small area.

I puechased these ottomans for my den to use as a coffe table and extra seating if needed. What a great deal! i love them especially being able to turn over one or both sides to use as trays, which i am using one side as a tray to stand things on. The smell everybody talks about was not bad at all, but i did spray plenty of furniture polish in the bottom and wiped it down and now there is no smell I purchased an ottoman to go at the foot of my sons bed at Target awhile back and that one smelt the same way and i paid 79 dollars for the same size. so you really are getting a great deal with three ottomans plus the trays. Thankyou so much. If your hesitent about these ottomans. DON,t BE! You will not find a better deal anywhere. Trust me, I looked for along time. I wish i had found them sooner before i purchased the other one
Christmas gift November 29, 2008
I purchased this as a Christmas gift and have left it in the shipping box for easy storage. I have a single one of these ottamans and find it so convienent for extra storage and seating. This is for my daughter who has a small apartment and needs storage.

I shopped for an ottoman for months. I just couldn't see paying as much for one as I paid for my recliner. The one I liked best was $500. The other extreme was cheaply made, vinyl covered boxes for $80. All I needed was the ottoman. Getting storage, tray tables, & the extra foot stools was a welcome bonus.
I recieved it quickly and promptly forgot about the comments on odor and put it in the house. That was a mistake and I promptly seperated the pieces and placed them in the garage or outside for 48 hours. It still took another 2 weeks for it all to disappear. The material off-gases an odor that is strange, but not totally unpleasant. It's just different and strong.
The lightweight cubes are not fancy but very handy. The rest of the unit is well made, stitching is straight & true, trays are nicely finished, & attention to detail is surprising.
I'll order another one soon. Based on others that I've seen, similar styles would sell for double elsewhere. Just allow some extra time to air it out before putting it in an enclosed area.
(Note: An earlier review stated that this is "real" leather. It is not.)
