Product Description Transcribe audiotapes in a jiffy with this Panasonic transcriber. The Panasonic RR series is designed for the small office/home office market. They are full-featured machines at very low prices. These units have built-in condenser mics and mic jacks for external mics. The RR-930 uses micro-cassette tapes and has two-speed taping function with variable (+/- 20%) tape speed control. Headset and foot pedal for remote review are included. Foot pedal has play, backspace, and rewind functions. 3-position backspace allows you to adjust how far it rewinds when you take your foot off of play: 0, 1 or 3 seconds. The RR-930 includes LED indicators for power, tape run, record and quick-erase, 3 digit tape counter and Volume and Tone controls. Silent full auto stop and auto backspace control add even more convenience to this unit. For the home transcriptionist, all you need is a telephone record adaptor and you're ready to rerecord.

Extremely satisfied customer December 28, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I was extremely happy with my purchase of this microcassette transcriber. I've purchased other transcribers in the past from other retail office stores and paid twice a much for the exact same thing. This one was very reasonably priced (half off retail), and I received my product within a few days of ordering it in perfect condition. I will definitely order from this company again!!
microcassette transcriber December 4, 2008 I would recommend this transcriber to others. I originally bought this machine in 2003 for under $100. I have used it for over 5 years doing moderate transcription 5 days a week and it's worked great. Within the past 6 months it started to wear out ... the counter died first followed by the headset and foot pedal holes getting stripped, so I have to twist the cords to keep them in place, however for under $20 a year I really can't complain. Now it's under $80. I just bought another one.
Good product November 30, 2008 Purchased this for my wife's law office. They are hard on equipment, and like this recorder/transcriber.
Better than Sony September 23, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I like this machine (Panasonic) for the price. I purchased a Sony for backup and was very disappointed in the quality and controls. It was also very muddy and you couldn't get it clearer. The Panasonic is adjustable for clarity, speed and it is especially easy to use to forward and rewind the tapes. It may not be a Dictaphone, but it is a pretty good second.
Just Okay April 25, 2008 The Panasonic transcribers are good machines, about the best, but this one in particular leaves a lot to be desired. But all in all we've had the best luck with the Panasonic.
