I just bought this used for my GBA, and I love it. It's much more fun than I expected. I recommend it to any hockey fan or anyone just looking for an exciting game.

When I bought NHL Hitz 2003, I wasn't expecting much (I got it used), especially since NFL Blitz 2003 (made by the same company) was disappointing. But, this is the best GBA hockey game out there, and I play it a lot, mainly since I can't watch hockey becuase of the lockout.
It has good graphics, optional fighting, optional penalties, constantly keeps you excited while playing, has superb rink designs to suit the home team, and season and exhibition modes. It's actually a very challenging game, if you don't play in rookie mode (you can choose between rookie (easy), pro (pretty hard), or all-star (very hard). I lost my first six games in all-star mode.

This game is a good one, the 3on3 action is pretty cool, although you only get all 30 NHL teans, and no international teams ( no GBA hockey games have them ). Overall its great except some of the uniforms are not correct colors and there is no trade player or create a player features which is one of two flaws in this game.

This game is amazing, a must for any hockey fan or non-hockey fan a like. Its an excelent conversion of the playstation version, which i also think is great.
All the real player and team names are in the game, as well as a full season mode, allowing you to compete for the stanley cup.A brilliant single player game, full of blistering action. A real bonus is the linkup mode allowing you to compete with upto 4 players, and it is so much fun playing the game like this with my buddies. I really reckomend this game, it has so far given me hours of fun, and im still playing it.

This game is a lot of fun and it looks great! You can also use the link cable - up to 4 people can play. Multiplayer rocks...
