Lots of fun for everyone March 8, 2008 I played Both of their games, I hope they come out sooner with the final episode, really funny. we had a ball playing them.
headed in the right direction December 18, 2007 i loved this game....great color and graphics ...cool puzzles...i personally dont mind pixel hunting as long as you can pick it up when your cursos is on it,and this seemed fine here..but there was some tough ones...this game is a must play.Im not into games like barrow hill too much..they are ok but have that dark non sparkling kind of adventure...i like the clear bright colors in this game..it makes it fun to pixel hunt and stare at your screen for hours...you gotta buy this and runaway 2
Good game, great graphics, a bit short, needed more polish. November 13, 2007 This is a good game, with gorgeous graphics, but it was really simple, and, with the exception of a few puzzles that made no sense and passed through trial & error, it was a lot of fun. The biggest problem is that it's just a tad too short. In some areas, especially at the end, it felt rushed through, like the developers ran out of time and preferred shooting scenes rather than giving you puzzles. A bit bloody and a few dead people, so it's not for young kids, in case anyone wonders.

This is a great game in the way "Amerzone" was; for the time it was released, it had some pretty righteous effects, animation, and music. It's still impressive, and extremely clever! As a fan of the "walk around, find things, use things" games, I am completely in love with this game's style! Think "Monkey Island" as a mystery/action/satire. (Love the reference to "Priscilla, Queen of the Desert"!!!) I'm actually still playing, but am only slow because of time limitations. Hyper-gamers will blast through this, but it runs at or slightly above my speed, which I can appreciate. Great game, and worth the time for gamers like me!

This game is such a disappointment. I was so looking forward to another adventure game, and had heard mixed reviews about this one. But I thought, some of my favorite games weren't exactly critical darlings (I admit it, I liked The Dig, so shoot me). Unfortunately, I should have listened to the negative reviews. This is a pretty big lemon. The only bright spot is maybe the graphics. The graphics are beautiful, I'll give it that (hence a slight improvement in the rating). But the story is lame, many of the puzzles are illogical and stupid, the humor falls incredibly flat (maybe that's due to the fact that the original version was in Spanish), there is pixelhunting galore, and it's exceptionally boring.
Perhaps if the game took itself less seriously (a la Monkey Island), the puzzles would have seemed less out of place and silly (SPOILER ALERT: lipstick bullets, anyone? melting peanuts?). The characters are rarely charming and interesting, even the embarrassingly unfunny Pricilla Queen of the Desert knockoff characters. Props to the designers for including some diversity in the game, but I've met drag queens, and I've yet to meet one quite so cringe-worthy and witless. If you go ahead and purchase this game, expect to roll your eyes at the many lame stabs at humor in this largely (intentionally) humorless game.
In short: save your money and don't buy this game or buy used (as cheap as you can possibly find) if you are still curious. Most adventure fans, I believe, will find this game to be a waste of time and money.
