Product Description The action from Star Wars Attack of the Clones has just ended and you get to control Anakin Skywalker, Mace Windu or Obi-Wan Kenobi as you lead the Army of the Republic in the epic battles of Star Wars: The Clone Wars. You must stop the separatist movement from re-assembling an ancient Sith weapon of mass annihilation. Wage war across the galaxy and make the universe safe for the Republic.
Amazon.com Review Another title to add to the Star Wars gaming shelf, The Clone Wars picks up where the movie Episode II: Attack of the Clones leaves off. In fact, the very first battle in this game re-creates the climactic battle in the movie, with you leading the clone army and blasting every droid in sight. Not big on strategy, Clone Wars is your basic arcade-style shoot-'em-up game. If you liked Star Wars: Starfighter, this game's for you. You control the Jedi leading the Republic's clone army, sometimes fighting as Anakin, Obi-Wan, Mace Windu, or other familiar Jedi as the war takes you from planet to planet. As the leader, you may issue squad commands to teammates, allowing them to act independently and assist you in your mission. Your ships and weapons are varied, giving you the pleasure of piloting everything from zippy speeder bikes to the impressive Republic Gunship. Soar over ice fields and desertscapes, or maneuver through labyrinthine galactic scrap yards, leaving robotic wreckage behind as you blast through enemy ranks. And every so often you actually get to use your lightsaber as well. The game is fun to play, the controls easy to master--but you won't find a lot new or challenging if you're an experienced gamer. Also, unlike its sibling, Bounty Hunter, the graphics leave a bit to be desired, but luckily this aspect of the game doesn't detract much from the gameplay. The pure pleasure in this game lies in becoming a part of the Star Wars universe. And, of course, blowing up robots. --Maile Bohlmann Pros: - High-intensity play
- Fun, classic Star Wars music
- Four multiplayer modes
Cons: - Silly voiceovers
- Graphics aren't very detailed and color palette is limited
- Plotline is threadbare
- Overall, not very challenging or unique
Amazon.com Product Description "Begun, the Clone War has," says Jedi Master Yoda, and that's where you come in. The Clone Wars starts where Episode II leaves off. As Jedi Anakin Skywalker, Mace Windu, or Obi-Wan Kenobi, you lead the Republic Army in the greatest battles of the epic Clone Wars. Your directive: to stop the Separatists from reassembling an ancient Sith weapon of mass annihilation. Battle for survival in a variety of multiplayer games, from deathmatch to king of the hill to strategic conquest games, with up to four players. Engage more than 30 unique combat units as you wage war across six worlds in the galaxy's most unforgettable conflict.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars December 26, 2007 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
I bought a $45 used version of this game and when my grandson opened it, inside was a Harry Potter game, not the Star Wares Clones game I thought I had purchased. That really felt like a serious rip off and hopefully I can count on Amazon's return policy to get me a credit...but nothing will change the look of disappointment on my grandson's face when he opened it. Your average game. December 20, 2006 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
This game is simply O.K. The graphics are lame, and so is the plot. I would talk about it, but I know there are some people who just want to discover. Only the gameplay is good. The multiplayer is just weird. My final opinion: rent it first.
Lame! June 24, 2006 1 out of 4 found this review helpful
I got this game and I thought "Hey it's Star wars." Well you can only play as a jedi ( which is cool but it could been better if you can as a clone trooper like battlefront) and other stuff.Don't but in buy or rent it.If you want a Star Wars game that you can play as a trooper buy Battlefront or BattlefrontII.There WAY BETTER!!
Bad. Just bad January 7, 2006 0 out of 5 found this review helpful
A weak clone of starfighter, rebel assault, etc. They make the package look better than the game. I would pass on this one.
An Okay Game, but... December 2, 2005 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
I was very excited to find this game. The first missions were challenging, but not all that difficult. You learn how to use your weapons overall. But, then some missions come in that are just plain silly. Anakin riding on a Maru and then on a Speederbike. Well, that level was just plain stupid. The graphics are very, VERY choppy. When you put too much into a game, graphic-wise, the frame rate suffers and that's what we have here. It's not like Star Wars: Racer's Revenge where it was smooth and just plain easy to manuver. Trying to pilot a speederbike through a maze of trees with terrible slow, choppy frame rate, you'd have to be a real Jedi (or Sith) to be able to do that!!
Then the mission where you have to defend these big walkers to blow up a factory is very difficult because your so called Jedi army aren't as well trained as you are and die easily, so guess what, you are left to fend for yourself which is flat out hard!! Now, for all those that say the game is way too easy and too short, well, are they playing at the "Jedi Knight" level, and are they going for all the bonus objectives?
Because if I were to just play the game just to get through it without shooting for at least 2 out of 3 objectives and play at the "Padawan" level sure the game would be easy and short.
Well, I recommmend the game if you are a big Star Wars fan because it's cool how it fits in with the movie, but if you want to get it for the battle experience, well, you'll be very disappointed!!
Over and out.
