This is a great game if you are a Gundam fan. The graphics are fairly average but the gameplay and Gundam-ness is great!

Okay, here we have not a bad game...but not a great game either. Gundam SEED; Never Ending Tomorrow is definately a fan based game, I'd reccomend watching at least the first few episodes to get into the plot line since this is the kind of game that you can only get the best out of the story if you already know it; plus, if you weren't too keen on the series, then there is absolutely nothing here to change your mind.
There are a lot of differnet characters to choose from, but there's only so long a person can go leveling up hoards of minor characters to unlock a mobile suit that had about five minutes screen time; that said there are quite a few extra's to keep the avid gundam fan happy.
In terms of graphics, not bad, but I've seen better. On to playability and controls; not the best control setup in the world, extremely similar to Encounters In Space but with a way worse camera system. It can be extremely difficult to get a lock on enemy units, though if you can manage it, the camera then constantly searches for the best angle, when the only one you really want, is the one that stays still.
Next up is replay value, unless you're the sort of person that can persevere with the annoyingly slow point gaining for purchasing items that range from old coffee mugs to make up, and then to unlock more characters which then have to be levelled up annoyingly slowly, then there isn't a heck of a lot of replay value, unless of course you just fancy shooting some stuff and blowing it up.
Overall this is a reasonably fun game with some good action sequences, albeit a little easy with someting like the Freedom Gundam. I'd reccomend renting this one before you commit yourself.

When I started to play this game I was impressed I felt like I was playing Robotech Battle Cry. Butt in my opinion this game is better. I haven't gotting really far. I'm probaly on level 3 or 4. The coolest thing is that it shows you good amount of episode scenes from the show unlike Robotech Battle Cry. And you get to use swords thats my most favorite feature of the game. I love the action scenes in this game there just great the melee combos are awsome you can put as much hits in the combos as you want. I love the sword that looks like the buster sword. And theres some pretty cool looking guns to. I recomened this game to any Die-hard Gundam fan. I myself have only watched one episode of Gundam Seed it looked pretty interesting I'll just buy the DVD boxset of Gundam Seed remember this don't always listen to those reviews from websites like Gamespot or IGN those websites will discourage you from getting it. In my opinion this is a great game fans of the show and the game will not be disappointed. Buy it or rent it its your choice I bought it and I'm happy with it.

First and foremost, this review should probably be knocked down to 3 stars if you're not a fan of the anime Gundam (and of course more specifically in this cause Gundam SEED).
With that out of the way, I'm going to go through and break down my review of this game.
Plot (8/10): Once again, I'd probably knock this down a few points if you're not a Gundam fan. It follows the plot from the Gundam SEED TV series rather faithfully. Of course, they weren't able to cram in all the scenes inbetween combat so many things are missing, but even those that haven't seen Gundam SEED should be able to understand the story.
Graphics (7/10): The game was a little lacking in this area. None of the Mobile Suits looked wrong, but the graphics just weren't up to par with current PS2 games. In its defense, this game was already released in Japan a few years before its arrival here.
Controls (6/10): I have to dock quite a bit here solely because of the melee aspect. This game controls almost exactly like a previous Gundam game released here, Encounters in Space. Sadly, Melee combat is very difficult to pull off and many times the camera's want to move will interfer with your actions. However, it's no major problem. Just some patience and practice with what you're doing will suffice.
Gameplay (9/10): And now we come to the main section. NET plays a lot like the Gundam game, Encounters In Space (sans the track-based areas, it's all free roaming). For those that have never played EIS, the system is vaugely similar to the system in Zone of the Enders. The brunt of the game is Story Mode, which takes you through the story of Gundam SEED from either Kira Yamato or Athrun Zala's point of view. The use of partners has been greatly expanded upon since EIS and there is even an element to leveling them up with experience granted at a Mission's end.
There is also Mission Mode. Mission Mode lets you follow the story of certain other characters in the Cosmic Era (generally, these stories run shorter than Kira and Athrun's).
Replayability (8/10): There's a lot to do in this game if you want to get dedicated to it. For completing missions, you are rewarded with SEED Points. These are used for buying various collectibles in the item shop. Beyond this, there are many Mission Modes to unlock (you only begin with a handful available) and complete and there's also the aspect of leveling up your partners. Of course, finally, there is also a versus mode which is quite fun with a friend.
All in all, a few flaws but a great game for fans of the Gundam franchise. Newcomers to the Gundam series should take some caution, but there is still a good chance that Gundam SEED: Never Ending Tomorrow will contain some entertainment for you.
