Buy "SnowBlind" & play it on Xbox Live, PLEASE!!! June 11, 2006 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Recommended. "Project SnowBlind" is a cool Xbox Live game, but hardly anybody is ever online to play it! That's a real shame because this game has a lot of weapons & features that make it fun & interesting. You can even set up clans to play the usual shooters events like capture the flag & deathmatch, etc. There is downloadable content available too. Good graphics & many different vehicles add to "SnowBlinds'" replayability factor. The single player mission is okay, giving you many possible approaches to solving a mission or killing enemies. This title is surely trying to measure itself up against the "Halo" franchise, which is good for us as gamers.
Best FPS bar none. I love this game and you will too. October 5, 2005 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I think this one blows Halo away for many reasons. There are so many weapons you can have and vehicles to drive. The emersion is fantastic. If you are a fan of FPS, you MUST get this one. It is only 19 bucks and is not a short game by any means. This one will stay in my library for years to come.
blind disgrace by Dark Dr May 30, 2005 1 out of 9 found this review helpful

More fun than HALO 2 ( yeah I said it.....) April 30, 2005 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This was the most fun game I've played in a while. The best part of this game is the ridiculous amount of weapons and gadgets. There are so many that you have to remind yourself to use them all. I kept falling in love with one gun and forgetting about the other ones. They're all good but some are more versatile. This game has the best "gun sounds" that I've ever heard. When you shoot a shotgun it sounds like a real gun and when the shell casing hits the floor it sounds like a real buckshot casing hitting the floor. Every gun shoots and sounds different. I love that attention to detail. I know people will get pissed but I had more fun playing this than HALO 2. I hardly ever died and the enemies weren't invincible FLOOD-creatures that get back up after you already shot the crap out of them. There were a few drawbacks to the game, though. There aren't any pre-set levels, so you'll have to make multiple save points if you want to go back to a fun part of the game. There aren't many vehicles(2) and they sucked to drive. You might as well walk. Also, the graphics don't break any new ground, but they don't detract from overall gameplay. This game could have been 5 stars with a few fixes to it. BOTTOM LINE: If you are a fan of FPS-type games, then you have to play this one. There's not much replay value b/c you can't just jump back to a favorite level (like in HALO 1,2) but I definitely recommend renting this A.S.A.P.
Entertaining, fast-paced Xbox shooter April 13, 2005 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
"Project Snowblind" began life as a title that would exist in the same universe of the "Deus Ex" games (in fact, the early title was "Deus Ex: Clan Wars") but evolved into its own game outside the Deus Ex universe, although if you've played the "Deus Ex" series, there will be much to remind you of Ion Storm's superb cyber-punk thriller.
The player takes on the role of Lt. Nathan Frost, a soldier serving as part of an international peacekeeping force in late 21-century Hong Kong. Like JC Denton of "Deus Ex," Frost is a cyber-soldier, outfitted with "bio augmentations" that grant him abilities such as super-reflexes, night vision, and cloaking to make him temporarily invisible.
The plot is pretty standard FPS fare, as Frost and his team have to hunt out a super weapon before it destroys the world.
The single-player missions involve a lot of running and gunning, but the game design allows the player (somewhat) to tackle obstacles in different ways, whether you want to use your cloak to sneak onto an enemy outpost or run in guns blazing. There are many weapons to use and even some vehicles to drive. Expect about ten hours of play. Multiplayer over Xbox Live or system link again is pretty standard FPS, such as capture the flag and deathmatch.
While not the most graphically impressive Xbox title, the game world is nicely rendered. The textures aren't the sharpest, but the game employs some good lighting and particle effects. Music and sound effects are pretty good and sound great in 5.1 Dolby Digital. The voice acting is also good, for the most part.
"Project Snowblind" isn't the best Xbox shooter, but it is a very entertaining, fast-paced ride.
