I ordered this product back in 2000 and it is still in good condition eight years later. I recently purchased a new PC this year & wanted to protect my keyboard, so I ordered another Fellowes Custom Keyguard. It came in less time than the order form stated and fit my keyboard perfectly. It saves on having to buy cans of compressed air. I still have the can from 2000 and it still contains air. I never have to worry about dust, particles, or even spills getting inside the keyboard. This is a great investment and worth every penny.

Fits snugly my eye! I ordered this & sent off for my keyboard cover, only to get a letter telling me that they do not make keyboard covers for mine.
The order form lets you believe that as long as the keyboard has the aspects listed they CAN make a cover for it.....NOT!
I have an emachines KB 9908 model keyboard.

Its sad that Fellowes hasnt learned at all after all those years. Same happened to me. I ordered the protector got the box in the mail. And 4 weeks later I get a letter to contact the seller for a refund.

In the past, I've gone through many a keyboard by rubbing off the letters. See, I keep my nails pretty long and type pretty fast, so the combination of this rubs letters off and eventually I have to get a new keyboard.
This product is an excellent defense against that and against having to clean out the keyboard... ever. The kit arrives and you fill out the specifications of your particular brand of keyboard and in a few weeks you receive a custom molded keyboard cover. As a faithful consumer of either Logitech or Microsoft keyboards myself, I've ordered a couple of these (one for work, then one for home after seeing how well it's worked) and both have fit my keyboards exactly. They're also a breeze to clean with your standard cleaning wipe (a house guest used it and it was pretty grubby when he was done).
A side effect of the cover is also that it mutes a lot of the sound of my fingers somewhat pounding the keys... which has improved relations at work from coworkers who razzed me for my loud typing.
It does take a couple days to get used to, but once you do it's like it's not even there! Great product if you're on the computer a lot like I am.

I always use this type of keyboard overlay and they work as promised if you take some care in applying them carefully on a clean keyboard. But if you expect it to arrive in the 7 days or that they project, think again. Mine took nearly a month.
