large scale fun for the miniscule PSP November 24, 2008
what impressed me about Test Drive is that i actually felt materialistic about the cars i owned or could buy in the game. theres a Dodge Viper that reminds me of the game Outrun in the way it drives and looks. someone told me Amiga made Test Drive way back when. i like that you can supe up any car after you buy it by going to a garage on the island that specializes in that make. its a great game for the PSP.

Test Drive Unlimited is an awsome game. You race in Hawaii. You buy houses and cars. The cars vary from Sport cars to Luxury Sedans & Exotics. You can also rent cars. The speed is very realistic. Like going 60 mph takes a minute to drive. The graphics are good & it looks just like Hawaii. It has a navigation map and radio. You can get arrested by cops and fined. Atari made and awsome racing game.

I have been playing this game off and on for a couple months now, and I can see myself playing this game for YEARS to come. A huge driving map, with many different cars and challenges, I will be going back to many of them once I really "finish" the game (which will STILL be a while).
The speed effect on the PSP is really good, as far as racing games go. I can really tell when I get moving (with the right car). Also, the different cars really do seem to act like their real counterparts -- mid-engine cars are much easier to slide and control sideways, some cars are very "tail-happy", and others just drive like they are heavy. Very realistic, and fun that you can tell the difference during the drive.
Overall, my favorite game so far on the PSP.

this game is amazing, really good graphics and game play, in the game you have three options, from free drive to shopping or racing, I really recommend this game. I promise you will have tons' of fun!!!

I used to play Test Drive on my 286 PC, and I remember spending hours playing and listening to 60's music (on tape!!!). I have just received the game and tried to live again that experience; so I set myself on the sofa and played some 60's CDs. It was great, so much fun!
Great game for the PSP, hours of fun!
