Nice and entretaining game. September 8, 2008 That's a nice game. Who liked the others will like it. It's extremely interesting being portable that you can play it while your wife go shopping and so on.
Harvest moon, godd game? August 15, 2008 As innocent life, the Harvest moon Boys & Girl is a mangement game for PSP. A good game? I think so but Innocent life is better for the like. But it is funny and interesting to play.
My first HM game, and it was AWESOME! July 25, 2008 This was my first ever Harvest Moon game. I used to play HM64 with my friend when i was like, 10, but I got this for my 15th birthday and I've been hooked to HM ever since. Awesome graphics compared to what I'm used to, a lot of fun, and for the girl version there are some ADORABLE guys. The only real issue I had with this game is that for girls, it ends after marriage, but for guys, it keeps going. The thing that compensates for this, however, is that it's harder to get a guy in the girl version, and it's a lot more "romantic" than the guy version, which is VERY cute.
Overall, this is a cool game and I would definately recommend it!
A classic December 30, 2007 Harvest Moon Boy & Girl for the PSP is just like the classic versions released previously on the GB only with updated graphics, and little changes.
The opening in a drawn out story, explaining how 'you' washed ashore. You are taken in, and given a home to live in vowing that you'll restore the farm.
The game is pretty fun, but can be a bit frustrating when you're trying to earn money to buy an upgraded version of your rune sack. There are also small lags in the game. The worst of the lag is right as you near the Doctors house, even if you run your character slows to a walking pace, and then speeds up. It's only in that one spot. Also, when the church bells ring the game seems to freeze for a moment. I'm not sure if they meant for that to happen and give some affect that people stop what they're doing to listen to the bells, or if it was just a small glitch.
With the lag issues aside the game is still enjoyable, and a good way to pass the time.
-Edit Jan. 13th- After finally getting to the Winter season of the game, I've discovered a few graphics glitches. There are several black dots in the snow on occasions. Also, once I entered the cave that you get to by crossing the frozen ice the environment turned to spring suddenly. I had to re-enter twice.
But, with all being said it's still a good game, worth playing.
Good Re-release December 29, 2007 Harvest Moon: Back to Nature on the PSX was probably one of my favourite Harvest Moon games ever. There were problems here and there, but overall it was just great fun.
This re-release keeps the games intact, except for one nagging issue. Because the PSP has a wider aspect ratio, the game has been stretched, which distorts the graphics a bit. It's a bit hard to get used to, although after a while it's easy to ignore. I just wish that Natsume had done something to keep it from stretching, even if it was just putting the game out in a boxed format.
Besides this, these are two fun games. The girl version of this game was never released before, so this new version may be worth buying the game all on it's own.
