5 out of 5 stars Fun game for older people   January 3, 2009
Finally a game for older people that isn't about blowing up or shooting people to pieces! Being an older adult (45) there isn't a whole lot of games out there that are geared towards the older player.
Don't get me wrong I enjoy playing some of my kids games, but you can only take so much of ninja's and mermaids!
I really enjoyed the difficulty of this game, it's not all that easy even on the easy setting, but it's fun to play.
I really don't like all the dialouge. Way to much chit chat for me and as a previous reviewer said you have to go through all the chit chat every time you kill a patient. Yup, I've killed a few!
Overall a fun game to play.

5 out of 5 stars Nice to see the role play games for Dr's get to this level!   December 26, 2008
The aspiring surgeon loves this game! As good as a "House" episode from my stand point! I just watch! The tention: the other Dr's: the patient! and the story lines so humanitarian! Bravo! we love will get for wii soon!

5 out of 5 stars Trauma Center   December 26, 2008
In the game Trauma Center Under the Knife 2 you play as surgeon who performs surgeries on different people. It is a little sad because it has some sad music and some sad dialouge, but is also sometimes frustering and hard.

The game comes with three different diffuculty levels: easy, normal, and hard. I play the easy( and on easy mode some of the operations are really hard and frusterating).

this game could be good for people who want to become surgeons(not me), I just brought it because it looked interesting.

5 out of 5 stars This is a fun little game. Not gross.   December 22, 2008
This is a fun game to pretend you are the surgeon. The operations are fun to do setting bones and sewing up wounds. I'm an adult but I like diversions from all brain training which is the main reason I got a DS. I find myself branching out more and more.

So far no bad language YET and it is rated T for Teen. It does have a story line also set in a mission field. I have only done the easy operations so far. The characters are kind of wild looking. You don't have to know the first version to enjoy it. You get an update about how they wiped out Guilt a rampant virus.

I just lost my first patient. OH no. It was an easy operation and I was not fast enough. Don't think this is an easy game to just buzz thru. I'm still doing easy operations and lost the patient.

Any teen would enjoy this and adults like me who like variety will also.

4 out of 5 stars Fun Game. . .long cutscenes   October 21, 2008
I had fun playing this game. Any time I got frustrated with one of my other games I would whip this one out and perform a few surgeries. The concept is neat, using your stylus to select different tools and perform an operation. Its just a fun casual game, and having the easy mode is nice.

Also if anyone out there has fear of needles and doctors like I do don't worry. I winced the first few times I had to inject stuff. . .but it isn't too realistic so I got over it quickly.

The only negative thing for me was the cut scenes. OMG they were sooo unnecessary in my opinion. The story is retarded. I would have been happy with a simple. . .you are a doctor. . .perform these operations. . .but they had some long story that takes up 80% of the game play. And the cut scenes are just pictures of people and text. . .not even visually interesting. . .

Overall I say you should buy this game. . .just know to push select during the cut scenes. . .this fast forward through them for you.
