Product Description Garfield's Nightmare is a 2.5D side-scroller that features platforming gameplay with gorgeous graphics. See your favorite fat feline, Garfield; trapped in lasagna, pizza and donut induced nightmares. A severe case of over-indulgence before bed leads to a dream so bad he can't wake up without piecing together his smashed alarm clock to free him from his fretful slumber. The goal for each level is to travel from one side of the game world to the other. In-between this, you'll need to collect various items and kill bad guys that generally pose little threat to your progression. Enemies and crazy challenges litter your path so think fast and play smart to save the day and night for Garfield. Help Garfield maintain his energy level by collecting lots of tasty food throughout the game including donuts, and of course, lasagna

Daughter loves this one November 11, 2008 It was her first video game and being into them myself it was cool to watch her get excited about getting better and better.
Great for a younger player! November 10, 2008 I always find it helpful when reviewers list the age range of the people the game is for. I just purchased a DS lite for my son for his 6th birthday, so I try to look for games that are age appropriate for his age range. Games that are fun for a 10 year old aren't always fun for a 6 year old or vice versa. So anyway, my review is for a 6 year old boy!
He received this as a gift with his DS Lite. He also received the following other games: Miss Spider and her Sunny Patch Friends Harvest Time Hop and Fly, The Bee Game, Pokemon Dash and Disney Cars: Mater National. This is by far his favorite game. He played it yesterday for about three and half hours (broken up throughout the day). He gets so excited when he makes it to the next level and he hasn't made it to the end yet, so it is fun and challenging for him.
He does have a Leapster, that he played occassionally, but it never held his attention the way the DS does or this game. He has about 12 different Leapster games, so he wasn't lacking there either. But he generally lost interest in those games after about 15 minutes.
So I am very happy with the purchase of this game and the upgrade from the Leapster to the DS Lite.
Rather boring October 31, 2008 Pretty boring and way to easy. Im not even much of a video game player. The graphics were ok. Garfield is slow and akward to move, which i guess makes sense with Garfield. Good game for kids who have liitle or no experience with video games. There is no blood or violence, very safe for young eyes.
Fun Game October 24, 2008 This is a fun game and much better after I found a walk-through on the internet. There are a lot of hidden features that you'd never know about unless someone told you.
Garfield Nightmare September 16, 2008 This game has made me a crazy person. Everytime I get to level 3 I can't get any further. It keeps me going just because I refuse to give up to a stupid game. I wish that the instruction booklet had been more specific as to the different levels & how to get to them easier.
