 One of the greatest Genesis games November 18, 2008
I got Sonic the Hedgehog 2 back in the day around the early 90's,actually it's my first video game to play.This game is so fun and easy to play,I always thought Sonic games have the best music,its so addictive.The levels are really fun and have different creative enemies.One thing about this game I didn't like is the boss(Dr.Robotnick) at the end is hard,the reason it was so hard is that I forgot how to beat him,and he was harder than the first game.
Things in Sonic 2 that improved
1.Sonic has a spin move,he didn't have it in the first game.
2.The levels are shorter,two levels instead of three levels,its too long with three levels.
3.lives are easier to get,Ive got seven lives on the first level.
4.The bonus levels are more fun than the first game.
5.Tails is in the game and and you can play him with second controller.
6.The enemies are better and more creative
I would recommend this game if you like platform games and have a Sega Genesis,if you don't already own it.This game is alot better than the first one,but the first one is really good too.Other games that I recommend are Sonic and Knuckles and Sonic 3.

sonic 2 is not as good as sonic 1, but that doesn't it's bad. on the conterary, it's still AWSOME!
it had more speed, multiplayer, better graphics, and super sonic.
the special stages are cool, but can be frustrating without a game genie. there are sonic 1 or 2 places where you get stuck in the enviorment. when you get all the emeralds and 50 rings in a level, becomming super sonic isn't a choice. but that doesn't slow this game down.
if you want a game to have fun with by yourself or with freinds, sonic 2 is the one for you.
Better than the first! September 6, 2008
This game is better than the first and is the second tittle of an amazing series. It now has faster speeds,more amazing loops,better graphics,another character(Tails),2 player vs. mode, and an amazing soundtrack. This is a must-have for Genesis owners and Sonic fans. There is no reason not to get this game! If you like other Sonic games, this is another great addition to add too you'r collection! (You can even conect the game to Sonic & Knuckles to play Knuckles in Sonic 2!)

The game was in good condition. Sometimes, the system turns off for no reason, don't know if it's because of the game or the system.

Of all the Sonic games,this is the one that will always be my favorite.While this one kept the elements of Sonic the Hedgehog,it also improved on it.Of course,it also introduced everyone's favorite flying fox,Miles Prower AKA Tails.The story is fun.Dr.Robotnik is kidnapping animals again,while on a search for the Chaos Emeralds so he can activate his ultimate weapon,the Death Egg!Sonic is on a quest to stop him,accompanied by his new friend Tails.The zones are BIG!My definate favorite is Metropolis Zone.The music is great,definately better than the first Sonic game.The best new addition is the Spin Dash.You should definately get this game for your Genesis!You will love it.
