Product Description In this Classic, you'll get to journey through history as Pac-Man, traveling back in time to save his planet. Pac-Man's archenemies, the ghosts, have stolen his planet's magical power pellet, smashed it and scattered the pieces from ancient Egypt to the Wild West. Now, it's up to Pac-Man to get them back.

Much More than expected April 1, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
My son really likes this game. This game has great 3D graphics and runs nicely on a PIII 1 Ghz machine running XP equipped with an nVidia GeForce 6200 AGP card and a generic (but recent) 7.1 sound card . The game supports up to 1280x1024 and 5.1 audio which was a real surprise since I figured it was just an old game. The audio and video are very smooth. So far we have been using a keyboard and have not tested with a joy stick, we'll be hooking one up next week. As far as the game itself, this is much better than the original, which should be expected with today's technology, but often is not the case.

This game is good for all ages; a good "take a break" type of game. There's lots of different levels, but like the traditional pacman, you have to do them in order. Fortunately, you have the option of Easy or Medium dificulties. I really like the Multiplayer option which is great for kids to play against their parents. You can also play this game over the internet against other people. It has good graphics (even vertical levels) and fun mini games between levels. There is also a cool feature that allows you to see the traditional "overhead" view or a closeup 3-D view.

Tons of fun with a dash of nostalgia October 8, 2002 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
This game is great fun, because even non-gamers will be able to play it right away without even looking at the manual. If you spent hours playing the original arcade Pac-Man, then you know the basic premise to the game. This version however has really cool up-to-date graphics, and the game play has actually been improved over the original, with the ability to jump, as well as other small but significant changes. It's remains simple enough to provide a quick and easy break from the real world, for people who don't normally have the time to really get into a more complex computer game.
