Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
Amazon.co.uk review Lemmings--it's been a long time since those cute green haired things invaded our PCs. This version brings together the first two games (Lemmings and Oh No! More Lemmings), with a souped-up Windows interface, some pretty animations, updated sound and graphics just so you can begin to start saving the little beggars all over again. Basically the idea is to steer these brainless guys through a load of hostile environments trying not to let too many fall to their death on the way. To help you in this quest you get to give your charges special skills, blocker (who makes all lemmings after him go back the way they came, diggers (who can dig tunnels which the others fall down) and even bomber lemmings which blow holes in walls. If you guide enough of the little blighters to safety you get to proceed through the levels as guardian of the future of the lemming race.As you progress through the levels, the environments that the Lemmings have to steer become progressively more difficult. The number of skills, the amount of time, and the number of lemmings which you have can vary from level to level. The main graphics don't appear to have evolved but there are a number of cool extras. You can play the game at low-res or hi-res. The first is perfect for a 640x480 setup, and the latter for 800x600. You can also "zoom in" for a close-up of various areas of the screen which is really handy to see whether a bridge is "pixel-perfect" or whether the lemmings are going to fall to their deaths off the end. All said this is great retro puzzle action. --Lindon Kenilworth
