one of the greatest games i have ever played February 14, 2008

i true classic one of the only reasions to buy a sega saturn or get a emulater. it is a true hex based turn based stratagy game, maybe one of the best ever made, and it has many good qulities for a WW II game that makes it worht playing. it has hundreads of differnt type of units and upgrades that makes it great and interasting.
you can only pick the 3 armies US, GER, and JP. US has the most money and cheap units, japan is really cheap and and can hold more units per mission, and Germany is the the strongest but extreamly costly and very minimal units.
unlike most tactic games were infantry takes forever in this game you can turn them into a transport to make them faster and paratroopers can go by plain. also units can get training points which make them better shots and harder to hit. one featuer i love is the upgrade if you unit has enough experance points and you have the next tech, you can upgrade it (panzer IV D to Panzer IV f2) and sometimes they have more then one to pick from (Tiger to Tiger II or Tiger P or Elephant) so it alows a lot of choices and unlike other WW II tactic were a sherman can take out 100 tigers it is a bit more real were if the US charges shermans into Tigers head on Shermans die... fast so it requiers real thinking
downside
there are a few down sides, inorder to get the good ending for Germany you have to cheat a little bit on "Battle for britain" stage cause if you beat that in 10 turns you can do "operathion sealion" were you invade england and then 8 stages later invade the US. but the cheats are easy to find and pull off. another downside is the free play stages it never has the really good missions just the basic of what to expect. biggest downside is they made a slight mistake with unit placement were the first time you get boat units the water is too far from your HQ to build boats so you sorta have to cheat for that too.
but thoes downsides should not effect the overall fun factor, and it can be up to 5 players if you know how.
overall this game is the best tactic game i have ever played and is worth getting any way possibule i belive every WW II tactic fan would enjoy this classic and wish they would remake it
