Great case, just one complaint June 26, 2008 I bought this to have something to stick my PSP in when not in use so it doesn't lay around and get dirty/damaged.
It was just what I was looking for and suits me just fine. I haven't used the Memory Stick or UMD holders yet, and honestly I don't know that I ever will, but that doesn't really matter, as I said I just wanted something to put my PSP in around the house.
My only complaint is you can't choose the color you want. This is just a small complaint but I thought I would mention it as I would really like to have had the red one (I have the God of War PSP) and I got the black one.
Overall though, this case suited my needs just fine.
Great PSP Case!!!! June 2, 2008 I bought this PSP case on a whim, i was out looking for the new Nerf PSP case and saw this one and loved it. I recommend this to everyone who has a slim PSP. I also have the UMD cases the same company makes so get those too.
Perfect grab & go case April 18, 2008 I recently purchased the PSP slim/2000 and was in need of a case that would both fit the new model and be small and easy to take anywhere. Well, this R.D.S case( Amazon has it listed as A.L.S. by mistake ) answered my prayers! I have to note that this case only holds 2 UMDs and and 8 MEMORY STICKS, not a huge deal to me but it may be to some. All materials seems to be of high quality and I feel secure that if I dropped it my sweet little PSP would still be safe inside. The clip on the outside is made of metal and durable as well as the zippers. The case also has a small zipper on the back that fits my earbud style i pod headphones but it seems to stick out a little bit so I couldn't see fitting much else in there. Everything else is well designed and fits perfectly so I have no other complaints and for 15 bucks you really are getting a quality small carrying case.
not 8 UMD disc, but... March 21, 2008 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
I own this case. The product description is not accurate. The center compartment does not hold 8 "UMD discs", it holds 8 "Memory Duo II memory cards". There is a BIG difference.
That said, it does hold 2 UMD disc inside, but that is all. There is no way to fit a third one inside.
The 8 inside memory card holders are hard stitched plastic on rough material. Getting a memory card into one of these slots takes a little bit of force. More force than I am comfortable applying to these fragile memory discs, in fact. To make matters worse, once inside the thick plastic slot, the top of the memory card is still outside the plastic. This applies a little bit of force to the card making it bend ever so slightly. I definately do not plan on storing any memory cards in these slots because of the potential damage.
Both outside zippers are strong high quality zippers. The zippered outside compartment also has dual layer padding, one layer of solid material and another of softer mesh. Whatever you place in this zipper is going to bulge outward, so the extra padding will come in handy. Earbuds will fit inside the zippered compartment but don't try for anything larger, because I doubt it will fit.
The extra hook it comes with is average and lightweight. It does not lock. The nylon loop is actually inside the case itself, so to use it you will have to leave it unzipped slightly. It folds away neatly inside though when not in use.
This is a good high quality low profile case to grab quickly for on the run, but don't expect it to hold many accessories.
Nice Case for PSP 2000/Slim February 8, 2008 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
This was a nice case for the PSP 2000/slim. It can comfortably hold the PSP, some memory sticks, and a few umds. The headphone portion is a bit rough, but if you got ear-bud style headphones, it could work. I got the ear-clip style.
If Logitech gets there act together and makes a slim case, I may have gone for that, but that is just name recognition. FYI: This is an official/licensed PSP case, not a knock-off.
