This game is everything you could want May 9, 2008 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
This is an amazing video game. The graphics are superb. The gameplay is fascinating, and it is more adult-oriented because it involves actual history. You learn more about the Templar Knights among other things. It has excellent artifical intelligence, and it is not too easy but not too difficult. I enjoy that there is such a large variety of things for Altair to do. He can ride horseback and explore areas at leisure, since the game is not completely linear. He can kill in a variety of methods, and there are many bonuses which make you want to continue playing. I have played this game for 5 or 6 hours straight without becoming bored.
This is the only PS3 game so far other than Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, that I would completely recommend buying to start your PS3 game collection. It will not disappoint you, and it is for people of all ages and as an adult I can tell you it is very suitable for any age!

Once again UbiSoft shines. This game is a wonderful escape to a time long ago. The main goal of the game is to complete nine assassinations. To achieve this goal, you must use stealth and other cool tactics to collect information on the target. These tactics include eavesdropping, interrogation, pickpocketing, and completing tasks for a few Informers. There are also a number of side missions in this game, including climbing towers to map out the city and saving citizens that are being harassed by the city guards. There are also various side quests unrelated to the story such as hunting down and killing Templars and collecting numerous flags. At times the missions get a bit repetative but overall the scenery and ambiance make up for it. The graphics are amazing as is the sound. Highly recommended!

Assassins creed is a very pretty game, But relly thats all it is. Yes it looks amazing and it really shows off the PS3's grafix ability. But thats all it does. The game is so repeditive that it quickly turns boring. Rent this but dont buy it.

Assassins Creed is awesome! It might get a bit repetive after a bit but who cares when you've got the athleticism of a damn cougar and a great retractible blade to end the lives of those you wish! OK im getting sadistic here but the game is great and definitely worth checking out!
Awesome value May 3, 2008 Assassin's Creed is a nice change of pace from games like GTA4 and Metal Gear Solid. All three games involve mission-oriented exploration of rich virtual worlds. Assassin takes you back to medieval a Palestine full of impressive architecture and colorful characters. It does have the typical Ubisoft flaws, but the game remains playable and entertaining.
