Great Graphics, A little repetitive. August 31, 2008 I haven't finished this game yet, I'm stuck, but I do think its very enjoyable. Cons- I have some problems with the view changes, the game becomes a little repetitive, and mainly if you die, you restart whatever level you are on. Also every time you quit, the level restarts. Pros- Works well on DS, good graphics, also there is more to this game then just battleing. The scene changes from level to level.
Real good game, but short! February 17, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Recomendation: Buy it if you like the Spyro series. Take in consideration that this game was meant to be played by children, so the game is not so hard to play.
The good part of the game:
I enjoy every minute with it. It was very good. I recommend it if you like the PlayStation version. This game is very similar to that version of Spyro. I found the puzzle games very interesting and I use to spend a lot of time playing them. The use of the stylus was good and the puzzles with beams of light were really good, very addictive! The voice of the actors and the story line is facinating. I can not wait for the third part of the serie!
The cons of the game:
I played this game for 2 days and was really easy to finished. After you finish the game there is nothing new to do. You may play as God Mode or Fury Frenzy Mode or even play in the arena Brawl and kick some apes and other enemies for fun. You can replay the whole game with the benefit of being immortal or use the Fury attack whenever you want.
Once the enemies disappeared, they were there kicking me but I could not see them. And, the angle of the camera can be annoying. If something is far away in the setting, it can not be seen unless you come closer.
You can not save whenever you want. Your games are automatically save everytime you pass an area. Remember that when you play it.
Quick Spyro Review December 26, 2007 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
This is not the the best DS game I've played. I love Spryo, however I do not feel like enough time or effort was put in the DS version of this game. The story line is good, however there are some technical issues that can get a little annoying at times. The game can be a little glitchy in places. Spryo sometimes walks through walls, or get stuck and either dies or I must restart the game. Also, the camera angels are annoying. I feel like I was constantly adjusting my view every few seconds just to get through one level. If there is an option to have the camera automatically move as you are, I could not locate. Overally, this game was not terrible, but I have played better.
Great game! November 24, 2007 2 out of 12 found this review helpful
