Moar Halo Plz October 6, 2008 I bought the 360 the day it came out but unfortunately it died from the Red Ring of Death and nobody (including Microsoft) could fix it. But I took this opportunity to show some of my Halo fanboyism and pick up this console. It definitely goes well with my Halo 3 Legendary Edition helmet and Halo 3 Xbox 360 carrying case/backpack. And even though the description said it was used, the thing looked brand new to me. Great purchase for any Halo fan.
love system hate the console September 22, 2008 my wife bought this for me last christmas<2007> I've had a problem with the ethernt port since I got it.. I have to plug and unplug it untill it final decides it want to get a ip address.. tried very many diff. ways of connecting and settings. I love playing halo and finished the whole solo in like 8 days after work and so forth.. but anywho I went back to play campaign again with my brother and it says disk read error.. took disk back which was scrached and tried a new disk same thing. plays solo though fine.. all I can think is it's a cd drive read problem.system also hangs and freezes.. As for the 360 it's self though I love it listen to music and do many other fun thingss.
Xbox 360 12 millon users on line can't be wrong September 20, 2008 MS doesn't usually get it right, especially with there computer operating systems software (THE DARK SIDE), but they got it right with the Xbox 360, great solo games and xbox live online. Love the online website and being able to DL free game demos, and content. Sony PS3 gamers website could learn a thing or two from Xbox live as far as games / content.
The xbox 360 is 3+ years old but it should be a good seller this Xmass with the lower prices now avaiable. The plus's are the HD display, great assortment of games available, backward compatable with a lot of org. xbox games, xbox live ($50 mbrs a year- Sony gamer website free) 10 million + user group. The minus is the Halo Edition should of come with a 80+gig HD (120gig HD is $179), should of come with built in wireless ($99 add on- Sony PS 3 built in), a blue-ray player instead of HD player.
The Halo series of games is a must have for this version on the Halo xbox edition. See ya on line, co-op gamer.
MugenProspec September 14, 2008 Although the game broke after three days, Microsoft was quick to replace it after sending it in. The second console seems to be working just fine.... for now?
THE console to own this generation September 4, 2008 In my opinion the xbox 360 has the best selection of titles to choose from to keep you entertained this gen. I actually had to send in my halo edition because of the red ring of death, which i assume can happen whenever. I thought I might see it after some long sessions with it on. But no, I was house sitting for my parents and when I returned to my appartment and booted it up after a week of it just sitting there, within the first 5 minutes of having it on the problems started. I choose to send this into the repair center, which was actually a very speedy process as they just sent me a new console instead of fixing the one that I sent them. The halo edition looks great, a little more dull/darker than it looks in the picture but its still cool, and its great having the hdmi support for obvious reasons. I usually let newer unexperienced players use a different controller because if its a little dark in your room the face buttons arent as clear to the eye, as it would be with the white.
I own a wii and barely play it due to the fact that there really arent many good games. Also, it seems they only release games for audiences under 5. Thats sarcasm for you, but really most of all the games are for kids.
never had a care to play the ps3 and still havent touched one go microsoft!
