Product Description
Maximum fun, maximum chaos, and all in eyeball searing high definition! FlatOut Ultimate Carnage takes the trademark mayhem of FlatOut and FlatOut 2 and lifts it to a whole new level of bone breaking carnage. More than 8000 destructable objects per track give you a lot to crash your way through, real-time environment mapping lets you see every scratch and dent you make, and of course, cheer everytime a Ragdoll character flies through your windshield! With three distinct game styles, an integrated career mode and intense in-your-face destructive action, FlatOut Ultimate Carnage brings you an extreme racing experience the likes of which you'd never expect to see - or live through! See every scratch and dent all with real-time environment mapping to create a grittier realistic appearance. Dynamic shadow maps for every 3D object on the track including buildings, scenery and cars making all movement exceptionally smooth. Improved particle effects e.g. Dust, dirt, smoke, water splashes and bouncing sparks. Don't get distracted! ESRB Rated T for Teen

5 out of 5 stars MarioKart for XBox360   July 2, 2008
This game is pure fun. I enjoy the challenge of PGR and the lifelike feel to Forza. Flatout is just a good time.

To look at it, one would not necessarily think it is similar to MarioKart. However, I find the gameplay very similar - nothing too complex, your turns don't have to be great, there's a lot of attacking your opponents and you take great pride in destroying their vehicles, similar to nailing somebody with a red shell.

The game certainly doesn't take the place of the other racers, but is a great, and cheap, complement.

I found the graphics to be great as well, with tons of debris flying around the track and responding to your actions.

5 out of 5 stars FLATOUT: Ultimate Carnage (XBOX 360)   May 2, 2008
THIS GAME IS A BLAST!!! Seriously, it's the funnest xbox 360 racing game I've played and I think I've played them all. It reminds me a lot of the original xbox game called: TEST DRIVE: Eve of Destruction. I'd bet money it was designed by the same people?
The graphics are amazing(I realize that word can be over used, but it truly applies here) and the fun factor is 2nd to none.
Almost everything is destructable and it's always fun to ram cars that are trying to pass you. Flying off ramps and landing on another car is truly a pleasure. You'll see, it feels soooo good.
This game is highly underrated and because of that you should be able to pick it up at a great price. I paid less the 20 bucks and it was well worth every penny.
2 THUMBS UP...WAAAAY UP!

4 out of 5 stars Excellent Game - Fast Paced / Thrilling / Realistic   March 28, 2008

I hesitated purchasing this game but after reading the other reviews I took a chance and purchased it. This game is absolutely fantastic! Since the purchase of Call of Duty 4, I've found few games that I would deem to be even close to the same quality or fun of offered by COD4. However, this game is just action packed and adrenaline filled. There are some minor drawbacks, like no split screen 2 player racing and limited amount of maps - which are just rearranged instead of being new maps... the straight-up derby mode should also include a way to see completely behind you so that you can drive backwards, and the damage should have been set up a little better for that mode. But with exception of a few minor drawbacks this game rocks!!

4 out of 5 stars Crash-tastic!   March 24, 2008
This game is one of those overlooked, underrated games that deserves a lot more credit than it gets. There is nothing but pure fun to be had here. Not a lot of simulation technical stuff and handling, but sheer playability and fun in a racing and car-nage game!

5 out of 5 stars Flatout: ultimate FUN   October 7, 2007

Havn't even owned this game for 24 hours yet and I can honestly say that as far as pure "fun factor" is concerned, its second to none! The game play is flatout hilarious! its ashame because for whatever reason, Microsoft hasnt really marketed this game nearly as much as they could have. I guess they assumed that only a certain segment of the 360 gaming population would be interested in this game. Bottom line: The game is worth every penny and then some!
