Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
Three legendary shooters. One legendary collection. The Doom Collector's Edition comes locked and loaded with some intense first-person fragging, armed with the devastation of Activision's post-apocalyptic hits of Ultimate Doom, Doom II and Final Doom.

The Ultimate DOOM
Try to survive the original 3 episodes of the phenomenon USA Today called "...the most gripping computer game to date." You're a space Marine armed with a mere pistol. Your mission is to locate more substantial firepower, then blast your way through 27 levels of the most explosive, demon-laden action ever!

DOOM II
The obsession begins...again...in the record-breaking sequel that has sold over 1.5 million copies worldwide! The forces of the netherworld have overrun Earth; billions are dead. To save humanity, you must descend into the stygian depths of hell itself! Lock and load for one big, bad blastfest!

Final DOOM
The final chapter in the legendary DOOM series. This is it. The end. The end of the undead Marines, the acid-drenched hallways and the hell-spawned hordes. Its 2 new, 32-level episodes (complete with new stories, The Plutonia Experiment and Evilution) let you finish what you started. Final DOOM. End of story.

Customer Reviews:

4 out of 5 stars Doom Collector's Edition Review   July 24, 2008
DCE is a good package if you are looking for Doom 1 (The Ultimate Doom) Registered version 1.9, Doom 2 registered version 1.9, TNT Evilution(tnt.wad), and Plutonia Experiment(plutonia.wad) all in one package. Comes in a nice foldable cover sleeve with two discs. Disc one has all the doom stuff on it. Disc two has doom 3 preview content. If you are a doom fan, this is a great package to get. Only thing wrong with this package: The package includes Doom 95 executables to run the game. While this is okay, doom 95 (windows exe) is quite dated and there are source ports for doom (such as skulltag) that have lots more features and are easier to play online. However, if you want a pure dooming experience with no source ports, then doom 95 should be just fine. Oh, and the other thing is that they do not include the dos install versions of these games. Would have been better to include both, but that is just my opinion.
