Sports simulations on computers have gotten better and better over the years as processor speed and graphics have improved. A mouse, a keyboard or a joystick is just not the same as a golf club or a baseball bat. But if you're into indoor sports like billiards, there is now an answer to having to hit the ball by shoving a mouse at it. Its call 'Pool Shark' from a company called interact. It uses something they call 'Real Feel' technology. When you play this computer pool game you use the real thing - a pool cue. The collapsible cue stick comes with the package which also includes a gadget which reads your stroke and translates it into real action on the pool table. Pool Shark comes bundled with a BONUS pool games, full version 'Ultimate Eight Ball'. The cradle, or cue stick controller, functions like a mouse so you have all kinds of control over cue angle and placement on the ball. Then when you are ready to shoot, position your hand and the stick on the cradle, pull back on the cue stick and hit the ball. The cue stick cradle comes with a switch so it works for either lefties or righties. It also doubles as a standard mouse. It plugs into a USB port so set up is plug and play.
