5 out of 5 stars Awesome, in-depth storyline, great new add in of heros   October 7, 2008
Guild Wars Nightfall is set in Elona, where the storyline follows the Sunspears and their quest to overthrow ultimately, a mad god. However, like Guild Wars, you do not have to follow the storyline if you just want to get into some PvP action, or go out and kill things.
One great plus is the addition of heros--fully customizable characters that are unlocked as the story progresses (or in PvP you can buy the unlock), which are extremely helpful when soloing. Henchmen are nothing compared to heros! They level with you (leveling slower if they are not in combat), and there are heros of all classes. This way, you can either solo yourself with three heros and 4 henchmen, or you can play with a friend, 2 players and 6 heros.
Again, I loved the graphics, the scenery is always stunning. The new characters introduced are the dervish and the paragon--I actually found the paragon not very useful, since it's damage is low and it is used mostly to fortify the team. However, in the latter part of the game, the paragon can be very useful, if used properly.
The dervish is one of my favorite characters, because it is a melee character like the warrior, but makes no use of adrenaline, instead, casts enchantments on itself to boost attributes, and when the enchantment ends, the dervish gains energy.
All in all, very satisfactory!!

I have factions, and i have to say the new professions are my favorites, however the world seems to be the same everywhere, but i still like it.

2 out of 5 stars 'okay' (i guess)   July 9, 2008

How can I say it... The game is okay... Look, Guild Wars is cool and what not, it just gets repetitive... There is nothing really new at all about that game. You beat the story mode, and you repeat with another character... It's boring and a waste of time... It doesn't keep you busy and well.... Although the game is based on skill, there is a cap of level 20, now that's cool, but there should be A LOT more to do w/ that low of a cap... Sadly there isn't, they release an expansion and then say that PvP is the big part of the game, although PvP can be fun, it's OFTEN unbalanced and just like the rest of the game REPETITIVE... If you want a game that takes skill, and you actually are going to be repetitive at least get Diablo 2: LoD so you actually have stuff to work for...

There are many things you can do in this game. I have been playing for a long time and it doesn't get old. It is worth every penny.
