Buy just the triggers, not the armor kit October 3, 2008 Like most reviewers stated, the triggers itself is good. Not the armor (steel color cover), that's not worth the extra $5. You can now just get the triggers, made by Gioteck (the company that made the original triggers that were bundled free with PSM magazines) at GameCrazy stores for half the price, around $5. Probably (and hopefully), more stores in the future will offer just the triggers package.
These help a lot! September 29, 2008 These trigger extensions really help give you that edge in gaming. I bought these especially for Warhawk, WOW! What a difference. I found these to be very helpful in all my games. The metal pieces are just to bring up the price point, I don't even use them. I bought 2 sets from Video Game Daddy for $13.76 before shipping and handling.
If your tired of your fingers slipping off your controller buy these, they work. Happy gaming!
Only worthwhile for the L2 and R2 trigger grips. September 5, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
As this has been said before, I'll keep this short. The armor is pointless, and actually inhibits the use of the start and select buttons. As my controllers are protected by silicone skins, I bought two of these strictly for the L2 and R2 trigger grips. They deliver as advertised. Don't bother here if you can find similar trigger grips elsewhere.
Not worth the money August 31, 2008 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
Firstly, the armor is a waste of time and i have actually thrown it away. It hinders access to the select and start buttons.
Basically, you are paying $10 for a single piece of plastic on the right R2 trigger. (the one on the left isn't even necessary).
If u don't mind the price though, the trigger is a big help in first person shooters.
i keep hoping someone will put out a better controller as i am keen on another but i don't like the present controller
Nice little accessory August 23, 2008 I would've paid $10 for the triggers alone! The armor is an extra bonus for me and makes this purchase a no-brainer. If you're into racing games and your fingers continually slip off the L2 R2 triggers, then get these. I also purchased the 4 pack skins from Eforcity and the armor fits great on top of that. Worth every penny!
