5 out of 5 stars Works surprisingly well!   November 9, 2008
Honestly, I didn't think I'd like how it feels on my ear. It's actually VERY comfortable. I had to attach the larger of the two ear pieces. It's a little tough to pull the ear piece off though. I had to tug a good bit, but I was afraid at first that I might break it pulling it off. That didn't last too long. lol

The battery lasts pretty long for me. It's REALLY nice that like the wireless controller it turns off when you turn your system off. When I need to plug it in to charge it I just plug it in whenever I go to bed since the system doesn't have to be on in order to charge it. By the time I wake up it's fully charged. I normally only sleep about 8 hours. So it may acutally take less than that.

Final Verdict: Buy it, but keep your old wired headset for when you need to charge the thing. Also, you have to talk at a normal level. Not quite like you kind of can with the wired headset since it's farther from your mouth. Clear voices on both ends and works great all around.

2 out of 5 stars not worth the money   October 11, 2008

I was very disappointed with this purchase. The mic works fine and sounds fine. The battery life, however, is terrible! The battery only lasts about 1/4 as long as my wireless controller. I should have just bought another inexpensive wired mic, even though they break so easily, which I will have to do anyway. My original wired mic that came with my xbox 360 elite just stopped working after less than a year. Microsoft reliability sucks!!

4 out of 5 stars Overall, MUCH better than wired   September 24, 2008
I often find that if I need to get the wired headset that I won't use it at all. This unit is small enough that I can keep it within easy reach and i can get up and move around without a wire to worry about.

The sound is pretty good (both sending and receiving). People can't hear me quite as clearly as they can with the wired set because the mic isn't right in front of my mouth.

It takes a bit of wrestling to get this on my ear and it is just a little bit too heavy to leave it there for long periods of time. If you tend to play more than an hour at a time it may be a problem.

5 out of 5 stars wireless   September 20, 2008
so do away with the wires. in todays age you gotta go with no wires. its easy to use, has good range, and lasts hours. i love it its a must for people who use the headset

4 out of 5 stars Good product   September 8, 2008
This was a good product. It had good sound quality, and it looked less noticable than the wired headset. One critical factor i'm concerned with is the battery life. It doesn't last very long at all, maybe three hours of gaming straight, and it's dead. You have to recharge it, which you can USB charge from the console with the included USB recharging cable. A thing I like is that it signals that it charges the device even if the console is off; as long as it's plugged in, it will charge. So, it lasts about three hours, and like an hour charge, despite its claim to last 8 hours on a 6 hours charge. The volume buttons are useful, the power button easily mutes it, which is good. The mic works well. The ear loop takes some getting used to, I admit, but before you know it you can just slip it on.
