5 out of 5 stars great game   June 11, 2008
I think kameo is a wonderful game, it has good graphics, at least to my opinion. Its fun to get awards when having highscores. There are so many ways to kill trolls wich makes it alot of fun. I think kameo should add more exploration, so we could explore more lands during her quest.

4 out of 5 stars Fun 360 Classic   May 12, 2008
Kameo is fun from start to finish, which is actually the only problem with the game...it's too short. You can find this title at a better price from different sites, but it is worth $20. Powerful graphics and terrific gameplay make this a must have, especially for the younger audience. Kameo will go down as one of the best premiere titles for the 360.

5 out of 5 stars great game   March 4, 2008
This game was the game I got when I bought xbox 360, and I say it is a great game and good to add in a collection of games.

3 out of 5 stars "For The Young Or The Young At Heart"   March 3, 2008
"Kameo:Elements Of Power" was released as lauch game at the time the XBOX 360 was released and seemed really like a game for kids more than anything with its cute and colourfull graphics also the storyline is much of a kid legend.Actually its a pretty good games for kids as it doesn`t have any bad language and you actually fight trolls! But its still a game that grown ups can enjoy too even if it was more intended towards a younger audience, its actually really hard to beleve this game was rated "T" for Teens.

You play as Kameo a fairy in her journey to save her world and her elemental ancestors from the Dark Troll king who threatens the world.I found that the main character of the game being a female is a major change as in most video games your character is a male and just for that some girls are instantly attracted to the game, and its not hard to beleve as playing as a fairy is very appealing to most girls,as for guys...anyway its a nice change of situation and its different.

What is really interresting is the ability that Kameo has to transform into creatures such as Chilla a kind of Yeti with the ice powers or Pummel Weed(not what you think!!) a plant creature with boxing gloves(that is actually one of the coolest characers you will get to play as).As you start the game you have three creatures that you can morph into but you loose them a while after the beggening and must regain them along with all the others there are.

Kameo takes some strategy as sometimes just to get past some place you need to morph into a creature, jump, and while in the air transform into another creature and press a specific button to stick on the while and climb. Its really a kind of an adventure game with a bit of puzzle thrown in,and it works well togheter.

The graphics even tought they may seem kiddie are excellent troughout most of the game, unless you want something with more realism they should please you.At times they are stunning and some boss characters are very well detailed. The controls are pretty comfortable and good actually and are simple and easy to remember even if sometimes they will need to be executed quickly to perform a certain move such as climbing walls as mentionned above.A complaint i have is controlling the character of Deep Blue ain`t easy...especially since its against a boss.

Multiplayer is not really that good and worth playing to say the truth as there ain`t enough mutliplayer content on this game.If they ever do a sequel they should add more multiplayer elements in the games ans multiplayer specific modes,it would a must.

Unfortunatly once you have beaten the game there isn`t anything else you can do except beat it over and over again, wich is very disapointing.Had there a battle mode where you are both kameo(with different colors)and where you could pick three creatures from all the ones you captured already to fight,or something else it would have been better, but its just the main adventure and nothing else wich is disapointing...

In conclusion if you are looking for a video game for your childrens or a family game, this is a wise choice as the graphics, characters and the story told in the game is likely to interrest them.As for more mature gamers tought it wasn`t specificaly designed for them they can still get some fun at it and maybe like it.It depends for person to person but its not a bad game really, its a game that deserves at least a rental but a must own for kids or girls who can find the idea of the game very charming(its probably more fun for them to play as a fairy instead of a hot girl...).3 stars.

1 out of 5 stars Fun game but two times it breaks on me.   January 9, 2008

This game is fun, but I don't know what the heck, this game faults and goes multi-colored screen on me 1/4 a way through it. It has happened to me twice now with two separate discs that have never been touched. This is the only game that does this on my 360.
