This case makes carrying the Acer Aspire One perfect. The corner restraining bands work fine. The case is a little large, but that is not really a problem. The computer works well with the case open, and that is very convenient.

Having tried a competitor's linux based system, I was expecting substandard performance. WRONG- This thing is quick. I wanted a basic netbook, but I also wanted the storage capacity for travel photos. The ACER has it! Best purchase I have made in a long time.

Bought for the Acer Aspire One w/6 cell battery. This case is a tad oversized--perhaps 3/4 of an inch combined on the sides--so it's not a perfect fit. The space won't fit anything extra. It's a great little case for that specific netbook (and diminishes the fingerprint problem if you leave the Aspire inside while using it), even though the fit is roomy.

Acer Aspire One hit the JACKPOT with this one! I read all the reviews on the internet and went back and forth for weeks, prior to my order. The day finally came when the mini notebook arrived. I opened it up, and within minutes I was using the internet!! It is so light, I can carry it with ease. I did buy the case with handles, and would recommend the case to others, as an accessory.
The six hour battery life has saved the day more than once. I am not ever worried that I will run out of time and the battery will go DEAD on me. The sleep mode feature "Z" is great!
I chose the white color after reading all the reviews, so that I could see the keys easier.
I tried out the smaller notebooks, phones, etc., but they were all too small for me. The 8.9" mini-Notebook is just the right size. For folks on the go, and need fast private access to the internet to answer urgent business emails, this is the one to get!
