Surprisingly good October 17, 2008 I bought this keyboard (elsewhere, sorry) to put on a small form-factor PC that I use as a television. A full-sized keyboard wouldn't fit.
This keyboard is 11 7/8" wide, 6" deep, and about 3/4" thick, counting the key tops. I'm not sure what the standard way to measure key spacing is, but on this keyboard the distance from the left size of the Z key to the left side of the X key is 13/16", the same as my old-style PS/2 keyboard. True, the keys from the right side of the space bar to the left-arrow key are just a little more than half size. The function key row is about half-height. But the main part of the keyboard is normal sized.
The multimedia buttons along the top work just fine without installing any device drivers on my Windows XP computer.
It was the key action that surprised me. It is much better than average, and that's saying a lot with today's disposable keyboards. I am a keyboard snob - I bought and use IBM keyboards from the PS/2 era on my home and work computers, the "clicky" kind - and I was pleased with the way this keyboard feels. I didn't expect anything special when I bought it.
Very, Very MINI!! October 10, 2008 I bought one of these on eBay from an over seas seller... I didn't realize how small this thing actually is. I thought it would be about the size of a laptop or notebook keyboard.... NOPE. its even smaller. The keys are about the size of chicklets. Need a pencil eraser to type anything.
If you want to make someone laugh, have this on your computer when you have guests... I'm still looking for a keyboard that resembles the ones that I have on my Dell note books.
