| Customer Reviews:
Easy to use (provide your own software) March 27, 2008 I've had it for two months, and it's been very dependable so far. Plug and play. You need to find your own software to make backup; just web-search "mac backup" and you'll find dozens of applications. Look out, though, if you're not a tech-head: the documentation that comes with the drive looks like it was typed and photocopied in someone's basement, and it's written as if you know all kinds of things about data and drives. You'll need someone who can translate "tech" for you to help you get up and running.
Also, it says it'll work on older macs and system 9, but my wife has an old iMac running on 9, and it refuses to appear on the desktop.
It gets 5 stars for trouble-free operation & size & styling, though.
