WHAT CAN I SAY July 30, 2008 For those who already, in the past, have downloaded, and downloaded this game to play, know how addictive it is. Great game, got tired of repeatedly downloading, so I thought I'd buy it.
It's Hard To Put Down!!!! April 1, 2008 Cake Mania is highly addictive. My 12 year old granddaughter suggested I play and see how organized I am. Well I tell you I found myself spending far more time trying to move up to the next level and purchase more "stuff". The customers are really funny and there were times when I just stood still because I couldn't keep up with the demands. The game is tons of fun and when kids are board break out the "Cake Mania" My grandson will be turing 13 in April and he "claims" he can reach the top, so guess what he's getting for his birthday?! You can't go wrong with this one. Is there a hand held portable size? If not maybe it should be considered.
Fun Game March 4, 2008 My wife and I have gotten many hours of enjoyment from this simple little game. I know it is time to stop when I instantly want to kick out customers who arrive with only 1 or 2 hearts and have multiple cake orders. Of course, this refects how some people really are. Anyways, fun game.
Cake Mania will have you up all night... June 26, 2007 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
A fun game. I had to learn quick because the customers can get upset quickly. Just look at the clues and they will prompt you what to buy...Also remember when you can buy the TV. There are three channels on it. the cartoon channel is for: Children, Santa Clause, and the Easter Bunny.. The Food Channel is for: Dracula, the elderly women and the college students. The business men and Delivery men like the News so be sure to change it to the proper channel. Also give out cup cakes to angry customers. If you make a cake that does not sell, right before you pick up the last customers change, pick up the cake first, this will keep you from being charged negatively for it. If you get over whelmed, don't pick up the change on the counters. It will slow the pace of customers entering the store.
Completely Addicting June 16, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I was immediately hooked on this game when I downloaded the trial from Yahoo Games. The initial challenge is to get Jill through three stages to get her grandparent's bakery back. The first stage is just her small home bakery, then the beach and finally the circus. These stages are pretty easy to beat you just have to keep in mind the strategy you need to use and your speed. I also played Back to the Bakery in the Deluxe version which is a little bit more of a challenge, basically it's unforgiving, however if you choose your customers to serve first wisely then you'll be fine. I loved how in Back to the Bakery as you evolve in the levels your shop changes with upgrades, nice touch. Excellent game for all ages.
