1 out of 5 stars cheap   September 10, 2002

this is a pretty cheaply made game, it is for sure not worth [$] or [$] or whatever they want you to pay for it, it resembles a high school report that was thrown together in a half hour, very cheap, the only way that this game would be worth the money you pay is if you get it for free!

Ok the only reason that these people weren't happy with the game was because it wasnt what they expected. But when u think about it its the only game of its kind. And it also has pretty good graphics, its just that games with amazing graphics like Quake 3 just make it look bad. And there is also so many options for it. Yeah it takes an hour tolearn it but that means that u wont get bored of it becasue it's not to easy, and it's just like the real thing.

I bought this game because i love skateboar but is not so good the graphism sucks, the grab and all the stuff are badly reproduce,it is good because u have 14 players but who cares and u have the possibilities to choose 154 differents environment which is the nice part but that's all, if i were u know i won't buy it

4 out of 5 stars Actually, it's not all that bad...   April 12, 2000

Ok.. So I bought this game cause I love skating, and I have been skating the last 10 years or so. So when I saw this game in the store, and it was only 15$ I figured, "why not? It can't be that bad. And I sure as **** can't skate outdoors with all this snow!"... I got home and installed it, fired it up and was positively surprised with the interface (most games like this has a useless interface/menus). The game has pretty nice graphics, kinda PSX-ish if you know what I mean, blocky, kinda rough (I played it on a fast computer with a V3000 graphics card) The terrain was really cool, that was probably the best thing with about the game, awesome skate-terrain! Tricks took a while to learn, but when I finally git it I pulled off some insane combos for sure! to put it short: ok graphics (a mix between "thrasher" and "Tony Hawk" on PSX), the terrain ROCKED, controls were ok, music sucked. 15$ is nothing, and I think the game is worth it, so go check it out!
