Amazon.com Product Description The Plantronics MX150 noise-canceling mobile headset combines the company's proprietary Flex Grip design with advanced microphone technology to deliver a discreet, stable, and high-quality headset. The MX150 is compatible with most headset-ready mobile devices, including models made by Motorola, Samsung, LG, and Kyocera. The headset's bendable noise-canceling boom mic is designed to provide an optimal fit and high clarity just about anywhere, and the headset's Flex Grip design permits one-handed placement in your ear. One-touch call answer/end and voice-activated dialing are available for most popular Nokia and Motorola phones, though be aware that voice-activated dialing must be supported by your phone or service for this feature. Plantronics MX150 September 4, 2008 The Platronics MX150 Flexible Boom Headset is small and compact. It works fine except it does not have the button to answer your call like another headset I have does. It is somewhat convenient to use and you don't have to speak really loud like the ones that are not booms since the microphone is closer to your mouth.
Hard on the head September 4, 2008 Not sure why, but I get headaches when using this headset. Since I get headaches when using a cell phone in general, I purchase headsets to distance the phone somewhat. Usually it works. Not with this headset however. Not sure why.
Simple and does a great job! September 1, 2008 I decided to give it a try after reading the reviews on other websites and amazon. The sound quality and volume are one of the highlights. My previous Motorola bluetooth headset was difficult to hear when driving with rear windows down. With this headset, I have no difficulty hearing even with the driver's window down.
The fit is quite comfortable, although it takes some time to get used to having it hug your lower ear instead of wrap around your ear like other models. I wouldn't plan on taking for any rigorous hikes or sporting acrtivities, as I don't think it's as snug and secure as models that wrap up and over the back of your ear.
The sound quality on the receiving end is quite good when I ask friends/family with very little background noise.
For the price, it can't be beat. Additionally, with the dwindling size of phones and accordingly, the battery life, it allows me to speak longer then I'd be able to with a bluetooth.
Better than borg looking bluetooth August 28, 2008 I have tried three different makes of bluetooth and have been disappointed by the frequent loss of signal. I thought of going the old fashion way and used a headset with the 2.5 mm plug. It works well with my LGVX-8700 phone. I am so pleased with the clarity of this headset. I highly recommend it as a better alternative. Great device without the borg look.
Good August 27, 2008 VERY comfortable to wear, but I have had complaints that the cound is "broken up". I can hear the other person well, but they can not necessarily hear me well. Disappointed.
