Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
Resident Evil, the game that is often credited with starting the survival-horror genre, is being reinvented for the GameCube. For those unfamiliar with the series, a mysterious corporation has secretly been performing ungodly biotech experiments in the sleepy little town of Raccoon City. When reports of gory attacks come in from nearby areas, two crack military squads are sent to investigate. Players take the role of either sharpshooter Chris Redfield or demolitions expert Jill Valentine to track down the source of the town's problems--specifically, something in a decaying mansion that's mutating animals into grotesque killers and turning humans into bloodthirsty zombies. Supplies and ammunition are scarce, so players have to know when to fight, when to run, and how to keep their wits about them. Players can't afford to waste their shots and expect their characters to survive. The story is being retrofitted with motion-captured animation, next-generation graphics, real-time lighting and shadow effects, new areas, and newly rendered in-game video segments to create an even more cinematic experience. Also, a redesigned combat system lets players attack and defend themselves with a variety of items found in the environment.--In chapter 1, the case of the disastrous T-Virus outbreak (a mutagenic toxin for biological weapon use) was eventually closed but the experiments were far from over. Now a new virus runs rampant! Control the destiny of Leon Kennedy and Claire Redfield as their nightmare begins when a new disaster unleashes itself in Raccoon City.

5 out of 5 stars GAME PRICE   April 9, 2007

I've been an RE fan ever since it 1st debuted on the old playstation but with this collection...I'd say its pretty fair...from the previous review w/o the addition of RE Code Veronica X makes this collection seem incomplete but the price for getting all the previous titles in "new" condition well...is reasonable. As of today 8April07

RE 0 - 34.99
RE - 33.49
RE 2 - 27.64
RE 3 - 22.86
RE 4 - 18.99

Total: 137.97 thats w/o including shipping and handling
For this bundle to price at 144.00 is very reasonable if you want everything "NEW" but if you want to go with the Used/games prices it will be cheaper. I believe if they added Code Veronica X ...will probably sky rocket the total price of the bundle.
Resident evil code veronica X is currently being sold
New: $99.00
Used:$20.00

Choice is yours! thanks for reading

5 out of 5 stars If You're A Resident Evil Fan, This Is For You   January 14, 2007

To the guy that gave this a 1: you WON'T find RE 3 and 2 for $20 each. Those two games are very rare, you'll find 3 for or 2 for about $30 USED at EB Games or Gamestop and a lot more on eBay, and if they're new it's worth a lot more. Then there's 0, REbirth and 4, which are all amazing games. Whoever gave this a 1 must not know much about Resident Evil. The gameplay and scary feel goes superbly well with these games in order of "scare"
1- The graphics and intense moments are sure to freak you out.
0- Not as many frightening moments, but the graphics are still scary.
3- Resident Evil Fans know that the series is all about being frightened, and not gameplay. Years later, the graphics don't look so good, so it looses in this section. Still, no Resident Evil collection is complete without it.
2- Probably the favorite game of all Resident Evil fans, and same gripes as 3.
4- There are a couple of moments that will scare you. This gets last place in scare factor but it is has the best gameplay of any Resident Evil game, and a lot of games too, and is also seen as one of the best games of all time.

3 out of 5 stars Great collection, but incomplete   November 17, 2006

This collection is invalid since they didn't include Resident Evil: Code Veronica X.

1 out of 5 stars Price tag is way too high   October 3, 2006

You can buy every game in this bundle for about $20 a piece making buying the whole bundle seperately cost $100. Lower the price to maybe $90 and there's a slight chance that someone may actually buy it.
