5 out of 5 stars THINGS I LOVE and HATE about Marvel VS Capcom 2   November 18, 2008
First it's loads of fun to play, especially when you've unlocked all the characters. NOW THE NEGATIVE, it's out of print and resells for WAY too much money, the BG's are HD looking, the characters are NOT, NO Fantastic Four characters, and it has the most annoying music and male voice overs of any fighting game I've ever known. WHY is there some random guy saying "JUST WHAT I EXPECTED" and "I almost Had a heart attack" WHO CARES! I don't know WHO you are nor do I give a bloody damn if you're having a stroke! If the creators had had any sense they would have made it THE WATCHER or Galacticus or ANYONE which would have made sense to have characters fighting each other. And about the music, some idiot broad wailing while I'm trying to battle the Hulk?? What brain surgeon thought that would be fun to play to? My suggestion, turn down the music and play the game...

5 out of 5 stars A MASTERPIECE   September 9, 2008
I remember about 4 or 5 years ago I played this game for the first time at a friend's house on Dreamcast. After playing this game I was stunned. I HAD to HAVE this game!! So when I got paid I called my local gamestop and asked if they had it. They had ONE copy used with no case or manual. Disc only. So I rushed down there to pick it up. The disc was in fabulous condition and it was only $39.99 used. I thought that the price was steep, but at the time didn't realize how rare the game was. I am SO glad I picked it up now. Not only did I have an extreme amount of fun playing this game, I now own one of the rarest PS2 games out there. Just look at the prices!!

5 out of 5 stars best fighting game ever   March 29, 2008

5 out of 5 stars Buy the dreamcast version.   January 1, 2008

This is one of the most enjoyable fighting games I have ever played and I highly recommend purchasing it, but I recommend buying the dreamcast version instead. Why? Unlike the PS2 and XBOX versions, the dreamcast version is arcade perfect because this game was originally release on the NAOMI arcade board which is base on the dreamcast's hardware. Additionally, you could get a copy of this game and a dreamcast to run it on for less than what these sellers are asking for. Trust me, you will be glad you took this option. I have never met a person who regrets puschasing a dreamcast.

4 out of 5 stars I wanna take you for a ride?   December 16, 2007
Let me start of like this the gameplay is awesome, characters from the marvel & capcom universe battling one another great plot I love the 3 on 3 battles you can switch your characters during combat I mostly use Ryu, Gambit & Cable. Well The music is kinda corny, The graphics are not that great it kinda looks like a cut and paste thing if you know what I mean but in the end the game is a classic because you can battle your buddy's and play for hours the prices are not that great I actually got mines at Gamestop. The day I picked it up I purchased Tekken 4, Metal Gear Son's of Liberty & Marvel vs Capcom 2 for $[...] Bucks yup great huh! well good luck out there trying to find this game, some people are nuts $[...] for this game brand new shoot yourself.
