This had to been on the the greatest games that I've ever played. With Madden now losing it's luster, I had to go back to this game. The graphics, gameplay, presentation, everything about this game was terrific and it still is to this day. The AI may be a problem and there are some minor gliches here and there, but those won't detract from what is probably the greatest football game ever made. If you don't own NFL 2K5, what are you waiting for?

I still play this game years later and I love it. The graphics hold up and its fun to play. I've had the competitors game but I sold it. I like nfl 2k5 better. Now you can buy it for cheap on ebay and amazon.
Buy it and save money. I promise you'll like it better.

I've had this game for about 3 years now and I never get tired of playing it, what more could be said about it that hasn't been said already? It's definately worth checking out if you haven't yet!

This is the best football game out there today, and it isn't even "next-gen." Graphically it might be the best thing on PS2, second to God of War 2. The commentary, once you get accustomed to the change, is INFINITELY better than Madden (ol' Papa Madden has been making me want to shoot myself in the face since 1999), the ESPN interaction is great, and it is overall a very, very strong football game.
Guys, this game is available for about a buck used, plus shipping. No joke, it will probably still be the best when Madden 08 makes its debut. Give this a try; you will not regret it!
