Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars Works as it is meant to - nice long shelf life!   September 3, 2008
I had bought this battery as standby cell for my car remote. I love the long expiry dates on these Alkaline batteries and had kept it in the glove compartment for several months - till the fateful day when the remote's original battery died on me - it was a good thing that I had the spare as I was able to open the car with the key (of course the alarm went off) and then quickly opened the remote with a coin, replaced the battery and reset the alarm. It's always a good idea to keep a spare battery for the car remote!
