A great addition to a fun game July 26, 2008 I played Doom 3 when it first came out, but never picked up the expansion until recently. I must say, it was a lot of fun to get back into that world again.
This expansion does what any good expansion should; it gives you more levels from a familiar game, with some new features/additions in the form of weapons and a very cool artifact. The double-barrel shotgun makes it's return from Doom 2, and it packs the same punch as before!
Playing this game late at night by myself with no lights on gave me that creepy feeling I remember from Doom 3, Doom 2, and the original Doom. While the expansion is a bit short (like Doom 3), it's hard to argue with the price, and the new weapons/artifact make it worth a purchase. I was a little disappointed with the final boss, but the rest of the game was very enjoyable and had a several of those great moments when the screen is filled with demons and you are just emptying your ammo from one weapon after another to take them all out. Classic Doom.
Doom3: Ressurrection of Evil Expansion Pack May 20, 2008 I still think Doom is the best game developed. Just wish they would go for a Doom 4.
Great Gme December 29, 2007 This game is a real eye opener it keeps your interest and may even give you the creeps. Give it a try, you'll need the Doom-3 version for the expansion to play. Enjoy !!
Doom 3 continues October 17, 2007 This game was well worth the price. If you like Doom 3 and wanted more of the same, with a few new critters and a lot less email then by all means buy it.
This game is total fun! October 10, 2007 This game totally rocks!! I loved Doom 3 and was sorry to see it end when I finished the game. Doom 3: Ressurection of Evil Expansion Pack allowed me to continue playing. It doesn't have as many levels since, of course, it is an expansion pack, but it is still a lot of fun. The price is perfect for the amount of levels that you get to play. You do need to have Doom 3 installed in order to play it. It ran fine with out problems and the graphics were great! I would recommend this game to anyone who likes the Doom series.
