Awesome Game! July 11, 2008 I luv this game and all the fun songs on it! If you just wanna sing by yourself or in front of a crowd. It is a fun way to make your voice shine plus sing some of your favorite songs!
Totally Rad :-) June 3, 2008 I love SingStar, it's such a fun game. If you'd like a list of songs (and previews) you can go to the playstation website, you can see all the different SingStar games. It's great. I didn't think I'd like this one until I went to that website and looked at the songs/videos. I think every one should get this game, it rocks.
This is like totally rad.... May 9, 2008 Soooooo much fun!!!! Okay, yes, I am a child of the 80's, but I think anyone would enjoy these songs! I especially love how you get to watch the original music videos while you sing along, which in this case really is hysterical, I mean c'mon.... Duran Duran, Twisted Sister, Madonna, Cyndi Lauper... these videos alone are GOLD! My girls, who are 9 and 11, find them absolutely hilarious! We have American Idol too, which is also a lot of fun, but different.... no videos, lots more judging. However, karaoke lovers be warned, the microphones on these two games are NOT compatible. SingStar requires it's own microphone, and so does American Idol. That is my only complaint because you end up with all sorts of microphones cluttering up space. Playstation should streamline all karaoke games to use the same microphone. Other than that we LOVE this game!!!
I Love the 80's! This game is awesome! March 31, 2008 My husband recently bought me this 80's Sing-Star game for my kids PlayStation 2. The Kids always get games, Me or my husband never do. So we thought this might be fun. I love the 80's its the music i remember most from High School. It's just lots of fun. My boys are still young they have no idea who some of these artist are. Some songs have been remade by new artist that my kids do know. Like the song "Kids of America" was remade by a new singing group of this year called "The Josins Brothers" I could be wrong. Never the less we are all able to have so much fun with this game.
This game is awesome! March 15, 2008 I love to sing, and I especially love the Singstar games. This game is so much fun! I love that you are singing along to the real artists. I played it so much that I broke the microphones, and am now waiting for the 90's version to come out so I can purchase it with the mics. It makes a great party game, and unlike real karaoke, you don't need to be drunk to enjjoy it!
