Better than Doom? October 30, 2008 I will begin by saying that Doom is my very favorite fps game of all time, period. So, given that I prefer the original Doom over Duke Nukem 3d on the PC, I was highly skeptical of anyone who claimed that Duke Nukem Advance is better than Doom advance. However, it is, for one very good reason: It was designed for it. The Doom and Doom II ports for the GBA were both excellent, but since you could only save at the beginning of each level, the game could get frustratingly difficult later on (especially Doom II). Duke Nukem, however, since it was designed specifically for the GBA, has short, yet challenging levels that prevent you from dying ten minutes into a level and having to start back over again. Also, the environments are better suited to the smaller screen, which prevents needless frustrations. For these reasons, Duke Nukem is the best first person shooter you will find for the Game Boy Advance.
Duke Come On THis Is Awesome February 19, 2007 I Only Have One thing To Say Freaking....................... Awesome
Duke Nukem = Ownage January 30, 2007 I knew this game wouldn't let me down. It's just as fun on the little screen as it is on the big screens. It has okay graphics as well. Always bet on Duke!

Incredible graphics, gameplay and sound. Its great. you explore massive levels littered with many enemys, and shoot anything that moves. there are timed excapes and its relatively close to the pc version(game play wise). everything is interactable, if you shoot the toilet it breaks and spurts water, if you shoot the candy machine it explodes. All of his catch phrases are here, such as dam im good, hail to the king, bitchin, and kick ass. to be honest they curse alot in this game. when ever you dont have the key to open a locked door he says somthing like dammit or son of a bitch. its a great fps, one of the best.
It is fun, but the PC version of Duke Nukem 3d is better! November 26, 2004 0 out of 14 found this review helpful
The two reasons why I suggest the PC version version is: 1. You can download .map files on the internet, which means, MORE LEVELS!! 2. The PC version is original, not ported.
So if you plan to get this game for GBA, think again.
