Fun Game April 28, 2007 This is a little too futuristic for my taste, but my brother and I play it online and it's fun for that. It makes me miss 007 Golden Eye on N64.
The Best Game Ever Made January 10, 2007 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
This game is easily the best game ever made. I have yet to play a game that is quite as dynamic or challenging, yet still as fun.
On the CD is included a nice little script that allows you to install the game on Linux, as well, which is a HUGE plus. The downside to all this is that the Mac version has to be a separate package, and hasn't dropped in price like this one has.
Overall, I'd recommend this game to almost everyone!
You can even turn off Gore and Mature Taunts, if you want to protect your kids!

Win for quality and price! August 21, 2006 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Amazing deal. Unreal 2004 is one of the best games I've ever played and at 10 bucks, its a steal. Unreal 2004 is a faster pace FPS that comes with Team/Deathmatch, Onslaught (control bases), Assault (certain tasks to move on), and much more! Still has some pretty fun servers and comes jammed packed in 2 DVDs with tons of mods, behind the scenes, the ECE expansion pack and more! I regret not buying this game until now but at such a low price, its all good. Got my game in about 2 business days (ordered late on a thursday and since UPS doesn't work weekends, got it on Monday around noon) and came in mint condition in a huge DVD carry kit. FPS fans (Halo, Battlefield, Far Cry, Quake, etc), this is something NOT to pass up and you should definitely look forward to Unreal 2007.

Was too short for this type of game. Had issues with gameplay and not as good as GOTY or original in regards to being able to recognize the opponents. Hard to figure out what you're supposed to be doing at times and where you need to be. Opponents seem to be able to shoot you from a very long distance even when they aren't visible. Took away from enjoyment because of those problems. Control and friendly A.I. were also at times an issue. Seems someone forgot to relive the first ones before making this one. I don't play online because of cheats. Maybe it's better, i don't know.
