Pretty fun November 17, 2008 This video game is a bit more of a 'workout' than Wii Fit. Sometimes some of the controls don't "catch", for example when I threw the grenades, I could throw them fine with my right arm, but my left arm would 'stall' even though I would throw it. It can get irritating some times, but I think it gives you a tough workout
Waste of money November 17, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The only thing good about this workout is the marketing. By that I mean using Jillian Michael's name. Too bad I can't send it back for a refund because if I could I would. I even loaned it to a friend who was thinking of buying this workout. After just trying it once, they are not going to WASTE their money.
Don't bother - stick with the Wii Fit November 16, 2008 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I was really looking forward to a game that would complement the Wii Fit, but this game is so disappointing. First, there are only 10 different exercises - definitely not enough to keep you interested for very long. Second, the controllers do not sync up well with the characters on the screen. There is a definite time lag, which makes it very frustrating to try to use the game. One other minor annoyance is the number of intro/credit screens you have to click through just to get the game started. Stick with the Wii Fit, this game is not worth the money.
sorry I spent the money November 16, 2008 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I can't believe I fell for the hype. I was so disappointed with this. It is so slow-you can swing your arms like crazy and the avatar only runs one speed-slowly. It is hard to get the thing moving,I kept having to go to the instructions to see if I was doing anything wrong. Very slow, Very boring.
Not nearly as good as Wii Fit November 15, 2008 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
Jillian should be embarrassed her name is attached with this game. You can not set goals, most of the exercises do not work, and the graphics and motions are not half-a$$. When you complete exercise (even when the system did not work) Jillian comes on with the standard phrase "Great Job". Unlike wii, which sets goals, corrects you if you movements are wrong (yoga, strength exercises), this "game" gives you the same phrases over and over again - even if it doesn't make sense and the system doesn't register your movements. Too bad proper testing wasn't done. Stick with wii fit - hopefully there wil be a part 2 coming out soon.
