A very good addition to the Flight Sim experience August 11, 2008 I have had no "lock-up" problems at all, and I find the construction of these pedals adequate, if not excellent.
I might be able to relate to some of the criticisms if I were into "slam-the-stick, jam-the rudder" combat sims, but for my general aviation sim use, they are fine.
I have a minor problem with the toe brake sensitivity and brake lock up, but I haven't experimented with the settings to any great degree, and I'm sure the solution is in there somewhere.
Used on X-Plane June 23, 2008 I installed the rudder pedals/brakes for X-Plane on my MAC with the Saitek X52 Pro. I had no problems with the calibration. I highly recommend these Saitek products.
Not flimsy at all May 1, 2008 I debated about these pedals vs CH and decided to go Saitek because I liked the design better. There was a reviewer who called these flimsey, thats absurd unless maybe you are 300lb and try standing on them. In a real aircraft the pedals are something you operate 'delicately', do the same with these and you won't be disappointed.
I started using these with single prop GA craft, and now have joined a VA and am flying regional jets, the one problem that I had to contend with is the base will slip on the carpet, its just something to plan for dealing with.
Given the same choice now I would come down exactly the same, these are the best pedals in their class IMHO.
Don't waste your money April 6, 2008 I've been a sim pilot since the days of ATF in the eighties, and in the real world all my life.
The first pair jammed/locked up after 8-10 hours use. The second pair jammed/locked up after 5-6 hours use. The third pair jammed/locked up after only a single hour of use. I feel these pedals are not made of the right materials to make them a practical, viable product. My advice is, don't waste your money.

Product performs as expected. Doesn't mimic the rudders of a real airplane exactly but close. If looking to log actual flying time this setup isn't for you.
