pretty cool June 30, 2008 this is a nice quest. layouts are a bit of a challenge. and there is no shuffle. has a story that goes along with the completion of layouts. nice graphics.
An answer to insomnia.......not to mention, addictive! April 6, 2008 I didn't know what to expect having just learned how to play mah jongg with 3 other players, but I must say this game is very helpful in learning and remembering tile names. I also bought this game for my sister who was recuperating at home after surgery. She has enjoyed the game too, especially while being confined to an upstairs bedroom.
Give Me A Break March 29, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
When you buy a game, you expect to have fun and play the game for a good, long time. In the case of this Mahjong based game, you must be prepared to 'hit a wall'. There will come a time...long before you have gotten very far into the story...when the game will become IMPOSSIBLE TO PLAY.
I have played Mahjong in several versions for several years, but I have never found one that has NO SOLUTION. To make matters worse, the hints are worthless at that point. Your choice will be quit completely or be content to only play the lower levels of the game and never move beyond 'a certain point of frustration'.
Mahjong Qest March 27, 2008 This version is a bit simple and has numbers on the tiles which is not very true to the game of Mahjong. It would be ok for beginners. There is a block at the end on some games and not a high quality game.
My review for Mahjong Quest February 26, 2008 We've enjoyed the game very much and will be looking on the web for games in the future!!
