5 out of 5 stars You Don't Remember Me (dum dum dum), But I remember You...   January 29, 2007
This was one of my first games. Way back in second grade, i was in computer club, and every week when we went to the lab i clicked on DINOPARK, always. It's more creative than some: You get loans and buy land. I think that whoever doesn't like this game dioesn't know how to play. You shouldn't try to buy T. Rex first. Funny Story, one of my friends bought one but couldn't afford a fence, so his park was closed down because "Disembodied Heads are Innapropriatte." This game is great.

5 out of 5 stars Had it, Loved it, Lost it, Buying it again!   July 22, 2005

I had this game for many years on my first edition iMac, and also on some computers in the labs in middle school. I absolutely loved it.

The essential idea is to get a loan from the bank, buy 1 of 3 kinds of land, buy a dinosaur for the land's particular climate, buy a little bit of the right food, and hire a few employees as needed, then launch your park. Improve the park little by little until you can pay back your loan, bring more attractions to bring more people and keep everything in balance with food, dinosaurs, and employees.

It's just a good, fun, somewhat educational, wholesome game. I unfortunately lost it a year or two ago, but I'm definitely buying it again as soon as I submit this review. I wish they would come out with a new one though, u can definitely tell it's an older game, but still love it and I'm definitely missing it.

3 out of 5 stars LOL!!   April 26, 2005

you just gotta know how to play it! my brother and i found out that if you buy a dino, put it up for auction, then keep going to a different screen (i.e. the dino info page that has illustrations and tells you about the dinosaur), the bid on your dino will go up every time, and the auction wont end till you let someone win the auction! that's our "get rich quick" scheme. other than that, the only downside i dont like is once youre rich, your employees keep calling in sick. firing then rehiring them doesnt help. its as if you rehired the same person who got a fever.

1 out of 5 stars DO NOT BUY!!!   October 26, 2004

OMG this is the most boring game in the world all you do is buy land which is very expensive if you wanna have a good park then you buy a dinosaur witch is half of your money they you have to spend 25.00 on one thing of food which it eats in like a day. so DON'T waste your money.
