Customer Reviews:

3 out of 5 stars This game is ridiculously hard!!   August 12, 2008
This is the most aggravating game! The reason why I say this is I had to play Cake Mania 3 times before I figured out what I did wrong. I upgraded my ovens & didn't upgrade my shoes enough. Okay once I did that I saved the bakery. Second on Back to the Bakery I got to a level with Uncle Sam and business women too hard! Impossible! You have to make two layer cakes at once not only that their patience level is like almost nil. You are trying to do one person's cake and another customer gets mad that their cake isn't ready. It's ridiculously hard!To me games should be challenging but this is too hard! Another thing I didn't like about this game is that it does not have a restart button what I mean by this is say you are playing on a level and you make a mistake. On Diner Dash I could start over not on this game. You have to go back to where you saved it. This means if you bought anything(upgraded anything) it has to be bought all over again. It's annoying. The circus and Casino were very hard levels. To me this game was supposed to be fun but instead it was annoying, stressful, hard as heck, & aggravating. I understand a challenge I play crazy cakes on Pogo which is very similiar. I love it and I play on hard or Master Chef. Word to the wise if you do buy this impossibly hard game save often. You will probably upgrade the wrong thing and will get stuck like me. I'm done with this game. It's laughable how hard it is. I play to relax & have fun. This game gave me neither. If you want a game like this get Diner Dash. It's challenging but it's doable. I completed it and it was fun. P.s. The trial version on the net starts you out easy so it's fun! But trust me the farther you get in this game the harder it gets. Now I've reached the impossible level and I quit. Another thing that made it harder was once you get to the 2 layer cakes they take a moment to tell you what the other layer is. Example a customer wants a star cake okay you bake it then it tells you say it wants a circle cake that's the top layer. Doesn't tell you the layers together. Which might have been easier. So you have one layer made and yoou have to go back and make the other layer plus make cakes for the other customers who do the same thing. Plus upgrading the microwaves doesn't do much except give you a little more time but still when you get to the level I was it's still too slow and you run out of cucakes before it makes more.
