Boring and childish game July 24, 2008 I am 12 years old and i played this game. This game was so short and so boring that 8 months after I got that game, I traded this game,Disney princess, and Strawberry Shortcake: Summertime Adventures for Wall-e on PC. This game would be much better for younger kids.
Good For 4 Year Old July 9, 2005 23 out of 23 found this review helpful
I bought this based on others reviews that this game would be easy enough for a 4 year old. The reviews were correct. The game is great for my 4 year old son. He picked up on how to do things very fast. There is no reading involved. Pictures are used to convey meanings and Map helps guide them the right way. I wish there were more games at this level.
Mom of 3 year old June 25, 2005 28 out of 28 found this review helpful
This is my daughter's very first GBA game and she is doing very well with it. I bought this game as well as Strawberry Shortcake and Dora's Pirate Pig game and this one by far is the easiest and best for a beginner. So far she has been able to play with VERY little help from me and she loves it.
There is no text, just pictures to show what is expected. This is very nice since the game is obviously geared toward pre-readers.
The best thing about this game for a brand new player is it is very easy for the child to just learn how to hold the GBA and use the buttons, very rarely does it ask them to push the "A" button at the same time as you are pushing the arrow button. Nice slow learning process. My daughter is very bright and knows what is being asked of her, but not very coordinated with the buttons yet. This game provides a very low- frustration level for her to learn.
Great for young players February 23, 2005 14 out of 14 found this review helpful
My three year old daughter received this for Christmas and still loves the game. She is a Dora fan and I've never helped her or even played it myself actually. She really seems to enjoy it and so does her 5 year old brother. I would definitely recommend it.
