Amazon.com Product Description Blasting through 18 missions in four campaigns, players will navigate their lethal military chopper through whizzing gunfire and thundering explosions. The Fireblade choppers are loaded with all the state-of-the-art weapons needed to save the world: sniper cannons, swarm missiles, EMP weapons, rail guns, and laser-guided homing missiles. Multiple camera angles let players zoom in and out of the frenzied action, which takes place over treacherous environments such as the Swiss Alps, the Arizona desert, the Amazon jungle, and the Arctic Circle. To conquer terrorist enemies, pilots can run silently in stealth mode, evade enemies with thermal-imaging sensors, and prevent raising alarms by remaining undetected with EMP weapons. The game also contains a mini-documentary titled The Roar of War, created from actual combat helicopter footage.

Midway did a good job on this one! Colonel Hawk's Review. December 1, 2005 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This game is very good. It should'nt belong in the bargain bin, which I got it from.
Graphics- 5 out of 5 Warning to parents: The game gets gory sometimes. Soldiers lose limbs and blood. The graphics are detailed, however. The Intro movie impressed me.
Sound 4 out of 5 The sound you'd expect from a typical military game.
Gameplay: 5 out of 5 Ah, Sniper mode. How I love thee... Anyway, what was I doing? The game's controls won't send you to the ER. You get a lot of weapons. There's the EMP cannon, a weapon that can shut down electronics for 5 min. WOW! And then there are missles. The Rail Gun is interesting. It is Heavy duty firepower! Use it Sparingly. You can go into stealth mode and sneak up on enemies.
Story: 5 out of 5 How many of you remember the when Russia was broken into the Solviet Union? In the game, there are the UES, a terrorist faction, and Fireblade, an anti terrorist chopper group. Extras: 5 out of 5 You get a movie after each campaign. And(drum roll please) the roar of War, a documentary about real combat helicopters.
Don't judge a book by its cover. Look inside!

Best Damn Chopper Game Ever Period June 20, 2004 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
1 star are you insane. I have every flying game there is from plane to helicoper to flying cars and Firblade wastes them all. This game is amzing looking extremely challenging in ways and most of all alot of fun which lasts for along long time. Buy this game get this game as soon as you can it's a must buy.

Fireblade puts you behind the stick of a stunning variety of two fictional helicopters smack dab in the middle of a stunningly boting and weak story. Fireblade is an anti-terrorist orginization. Can't you see that line bathing in the word "UNORIGINAL"? Actually, there's pretty much no story. Basically all you do is blow stuff up, sometimes with a time limit. Yawn. What I'd like to see from a helicopter game is some believable helicopters. Modern helicopters, like H-60s or something. I'd also like to see an origninal story. I'd also like to see more riveting game play. "Fireblade" could almost act like a lullaby.
