 Poor quality and not supported April 8, 2008

This product reacted normally once (though I do not know about the actual surge suppression). In subsequent uses, it caused a short circuit in 2 different hotel rooms in 2 separate cities, tripping main breakers and cutting power to the entire room as soon as plugged.
Two emails to the manufacturer (one to customer service and the other to technical support) were neither acknowledged nor answered.

I buy this products a few week and so far so good; have a light indicator for grounded and you can connect two power cord at the same time.
The only point that could be better is the power connector.
About the size could be small if take off the telephone outlet protector, the size is very important for traveler.

Wish the slider mechanism was a little sturdier but if you are careful with it (as I have been) it works well.

Very nice, compact unit. Great for laptop due to small size plus protects LAN connection. Totally agree with reviewer Rizzo about sliding button on top. I haven't had as much trouble with it as he has (hasn't broken off) but you must keep a firm thumb on it to plug into tight receptacles.
