Easy Labeling System September 7, 2008

Very easy to use, from basic to more advanced functions, from user-friendly keyboard to easy cartridge removal and replacement. Many colors and sizes of tapes available. I do wish it had more fonts and two or three more font sizes, but it's certainly adequate for everyday use. Smooth, quiet workhorse.

Works like a charm. My wife does jewelry and the size is perfect for organizing the beads and supplies. It also fills a number of household needs. Simple to use, and easy to get supplies.

Bought for use in an outpatient medical clinic and works wonderfully! Cuts down time in labeling lab specimens, helps organize sample closet, tons of other uses as well! Easy to use and quick to install. NO complaints thus far. Highly recommend for home or office.

Excellent Printer TERRIBLE Software.
The included editing software is barely usable. You cannot cut and paste text from another application into your labels.
Text will usually printout lower than what a shown in the editor. A job that looks perfect on your display using 'print preview' will look different when actually printed. Be prepared for lots of wasted tape.
I have the latest software from brother (3.2c), which only shows compatibility with older, obsolete operating systems.
If you want to use the printer 'stand-alone' you will probably be happy. The included editing software reminds me of Mac OS 6 or Windows 3.1

I purchased this labeler to make tags for my son's bottles for day care. It was so easy to use right out of the box. I purchased the extra adhesive laminated tape and the labels go through the diswasher and look perfect.
I can hardly wait to label my older son's sports equipment and organize my pantry. The instructions are easy to follow and the results are fantastic.
